Appalling company, I phoned them up to try and arrange a payment plan for £86.81, you get though

Appalling company, I phoned them up to try and arrange a payment plan for £86.81, you get though to a indian call centre, a woman who can just about speak English, you have to keep asking her to repeat herself, noisey background with people talking and laughing. I told her I want to pay 3 installments of 28.94 to clear the balance, put me on hold for 15 minutes, then told me I have to pay full amount or set up a direct debit of £31 per month for 6 months
So they end up taking more of my money in advance, as if they are not robbing us enough. I will set up a standing order to pay the balance, all the time customers are paying by direct debit they are earning interest on your money getting even richer, its a shame you are stuck with this company and you cannot switch, not useless you move to a different part of the uk.

Pollute our sea, Christmas day water outage in Hastings. Billed me 25 pounds per month for a year and a half before bothering to check our meter then all of a sudden hiked our monthly bill to £55. Completely incompetent. Was called and was told that there was no evidence of a water outage on Christmas day, I said there absolutley was, and I am other priority register and was told 2 days beforehand that water would be delivered.. it never was, our water went off xmas day so had to walk 1 mile to collect bottled water from them and then walk a mile up hill with 12 litres of heavy water. After it was evident that I wasn't going to give in. They offered me £40 compensation to be added to my account. I agreed. I have tried logging in ro check it was credited as I didnt recieve any written confirmation. I am unable to log in as the log in here button is not working.. I went to the contact us page and even that forgot work. Sorry but what the f are we paying for. Other than eater which falls from the sky free of charge.

Criminal Extraction

Criminal extraction, decades paying profits to shareholders while the infrastructure fails, now they nearly double everyone's water bill to maintain shareholder dividends, literally taking food from children's mouths! The CEO is receives a £7 million annual salary, the business posts £97 million profits last year. Call the call centre and it's outsourced to Africa, go to the Dashboard and the dates are wrong, they send pay now messages for balances that are already paid.

Crap customer service

Incapable of understanding English in their S African call centres, who give wrong information : Put on hold but do not resolve anything. : inadequate information on bills : give a false timeframe to reply to emails but NEVER achieve it !! : any emails from them are not accurate

Two winters of constant tankers and temp traffics, back again, on the only road out of the village. Southern waters are use don’t care, what a surprise! Making a complaint is impossible, as they never return calls or answer the complaint.

Increased my bill from £45 to £122…

Increased my bill from £45 to £122. Sent a complaint to Rickie Murphy from Head office who has totally ignored my complaint sending me the generic automated response as last time. Sent a document regarding, getting help if you can't/won't pay the bill. I know we don't use the water they are suggesting and have done the stupid tap test a number of times. I keep telling them that there must be another reason but they aren't interested. I'm also meant to be on a reduced rate, they sent me a letter days before confirming the reduced rate!!They used to charge me for the neighbours water too so I have zero faith in them.I know there's an issue!!! He has just ignored my concerns, not even mentioned the bill or payment options. I also contacted customer services who have also ignored my email. They couldn't give a toss. As an autistic/ADHD, severely depressed adult this is pushing me over the edge and they don't give a damn. I'm happy to agree a monthly sum, nowhere near there suggested amount but they have ignored that but they should also be investigating my complaint!! Absolute a- holes!! Tell you what, stop providing water to our house!!

Calling Southern Water after a bereavement

Have been trying to help my Mum with bills after losing my Dad, calling Southern Water has been the worst experience yet, no bereavement line, signal always really bad so difficult to talk about sensitive matters, no consideration and the worst thing is Mum is stuck with this company, Thank you Southern Water for making a really difficult time for my family, even more difficult.

This company are dangerous to the…

This company are dangerous to the public it would be better if they just declared bankrupsy and just like ofwat disapear from jobs they clearly are not capable of carrying out. Instead of just stealing public money in what is agreed by everyone as being in a cost of living crisis. I would urge the government to take this company back into public ownership.
