I came to this course as a modern astrologer trained in Evolutionary Astrology. As a philosophical framework, EA was a powerful tool, but I wanted a deeper understanding of the meanings of the planets, signs, houses, along with a more practical and accessible way of working with the symbolism. The STA Horary course provided that and so much more. The teachers have a deep respect for tradition and share their knowledge with equal parts wit and clarity. They went above and beyond to answer our questions with extensive citations and practical hands on application. Deb and the other tutors want to make sure you are successful in your learning. This course is exceptional! 20 Live classes presented by great teachers who are inspiring and very good at getting to the heart of the matter, which I personally admire and have learnt a lot from.I appreciate how organise and concise are the weekly materials being presented. Essential principles for interpreting celestial symbolisms are presented throughout the course. There's something about the STA Practitioners Level Horary Astrology Course...Every time when I revisit a particular session or recording again, I learn something extra from it. I've taken many astrology courses over the years, both online and in person, and STA's Hoary Practioners Course was by far the best. The course is extremely well-organised and interesting, the tutors are experienced, knowledgeable, dedicated and kind and the course is very interactive, with plenty of chances to connect with other students and ask questions. Even if you decide in the end that you don't want to work with hoary astrology professionally, this course will still give you a great foundation and/or review of the principles of traditional astrology. In short, I highly recommend this course, which is most definitely worth the price and time investment involved.

I really enjoyed this course, it is so well structured, so rich with chart examples and tutors' personal experience. There is a lot of valuable information from ancient astrologers, tutors did such a great job and I absolutely recommend this course to anybody who is thinking to learn Horary astrology.
The material presented in this course has been curated extremely well and is very in-depth. It does not simply itemize information from old sources, but it actually translates and shows how it is still relevant in today’s world. The logic behind the theory and every aphorism will also be explained so that it’s easier to digest and remember when you need to face your own charts. You can really feel the love and commitment Deborah and her team have committed to research everything, and comment on it with their own practical experience. From session 1 you realize that a lot of thoughts have been put into the way the material was presented as well. The slides are well done and really help to make sense of the concepts they’re teaching you.The syllabus of the course is really well structured in 20 sessions. For each session you will get a 1 to 2 hour lecture, PDF files for the course text, workbook with more examples and assignments, and one answer key to those assignments. The tutors are all astrologers at the top of their field and they are all very nice! You are encouraged to ask questions and will always receive prompt answers.Finally, one thing that is also invaluable to this course, is to read the judgements of the charts in your workbooks. Those are packed with nuggets and you will want to pay close attention to how the information was delivered to the consultant. It’s one thing to learn about the theory & practice of horary, but it is another to actually know how to translate that information with the sensibility required when faced with clients who are sometimes in a very vulnerable state.This course really has it all! I’ve taken their medical astrology course too (which was also very high standard), and I know I’ll stay tuned for their new upcoming courses and will sign up asap.
