My canvas arrived yesterday and amazingly in one piece. This is the third order we have placed with Steven Brown but something has seriously gone wrong in recent times for this organisation. Sadly, so long as they continue to use yodel we will not be placing any further orders and will be warning anyone that asks about our prints about the likely headache and delays they will face.
Our print went out for delivery on Wednesday, no attempt to deliver. Out for delivery on Thursday, no attempt to deliver, out for delivery on Friday, no attempt to deliver, out for delivery yesterday, arrived at 23:16. What courier in their right mind delivers until almost midnight?
Worse still he just left it on our doorstep and walked off despite the house being in darkness as we were all asleep. In the tracking app all the options for delivery to neighbours, safe place, collection point extra were not allowed meaning I had to wait in each day hoping when it said it was out for delivery, it would actually get delivered. Somehow though it’s ok for him to make customers watch on the map as he drives around for 4 days, covering lots of streets around my city and not until the 4th day of driving around did he decide to try and deliver it but instead of ensuring we are home at 23:16 he just left it in full view of the street and walked off.
We love this art and will continue to enjoy each but something has seriously gone wrong when compared to the last two orders we placed a few years back. So frustrating in not being able to contact them by phone due to not enough agents then being hung up on by an automated message or the courier and instead dealing with Yodels chat system only to go around in circles with agents lies by “it’s been escalated” or “it will definitely arrive today” or having to email Steven Brown and get no reply.
This will however be the last order we place and will be advising others to think twice before placing and order with this company.

I used to feel sorry for Steve Brown, I thought his site must have been hacked. It appears that may not have been the case - instead he has sold out to a company that believes in aggressive marketing. I am thoroughly sick of receiving offers for stuff I don't want and they completely ignore the 'unsubscribe' option. AVOID.
My clock is the second piece purchasedHowever, when it stopped working after a few minutes I was gutted and I thought it was faulty. IT WASN'T. It seems that delivery can sometimes push the clock hands down so they end up getting caught on one another but not in an initially noticeable way.By lifting them up a fraction, gently at the top and bottom. The problem resolves. So glad I sussed it out as loved my clock and even though I was offered a replacement I lifted the clock hands up a fraction so the ends don't catch and now it works. You might need a few attempts but I'm v.happy with clock now the problem has been resolved.
Customer service is shocking. I ordered 2 cushions they arrived 1 large and 1 medium size. I contacted customer service and they asked me to return the item and reorder the correct size. I had already paid £4.99 delivery - now I had to pay £3:90 for the return delivery and a further £4.99 for the new order - £13:88 in delivery costs! I asked if they had a discount code for free delivery (or return) they responded with a very rude "No Sorry"..... its such a shame as the cushions are lovely but I wont be purchasing anything else or recommending them.
This company is a joke. Shocking quality products being sent out at high cost. The coasters had no cork backing and cut to a wrong size and if you read out reviews they accurately reflect this shoddy company who appear to be based in Ilkeston and not Scotland. To anyone else being scammed by this company please use credit card charge back to claim your money back from these jokers. They look to have good reviews on Facebook because they delete and block anything negative. UTILISE CREDIT CARD CHARGEBACK to claim back. If you don't know how to do it please Google it. Don't let them get away with scamming you out of money for dreadful products.
TAKE CARE! In the past my wife has purchased items from Steven Brown. She recently received an email with a special offer as a previous customer of a case for £10.She subsquently had reminder emails from a company called bestplaner and entered her credit card details. With further thought she was concerned that something didn't seem right and contacted the credit card company who cancelled that card. However there was a subsquent charge of £10 to BSTPLN2.Best Planer offer an online diary and schedular for a monthly charge. They answer the phone as Best Planner - so why the mis-spelled website name?I fully believe they are extremely suspect but can find little info online.Surprise, surprise, no case has arrived.
Was reluctant to order from them after reading all the reviews, but will say I was pleasantly surprised. Had a few things I wanted as Christmas gifts but decided to buy something small (calender) just to test it out. Was dispatched within a couple of days and delivered within a week. Decided to order some more items (a couple of wooden prints) expecting it to take longer (closer to Christmas and I believe the art is made to order). Was dispatched within a week. Unfortunately the courier misplaced the item which led to a week's delay (not the companies fault). Contacted their customer services twice for this second order and on both occasions got a helpful reply within 24 hours. When I finally got the second item it was very well packaged and protected and was as described. Happy I took the chance given the reviews I had read.
Bought one item years ago and have been to trying to get myself removed from their mailing list (that I didn’t agree to be added to) since 2018. I unsubscribe every time I get an email but they keep on coming. I’ve had 5 exactly the same between Friday and Sunday. I’ve sent them one last email with evidence that I’ve already asked them to stop. If I get any more I’m going to the ICO as fed up with seeing them.
