Disappointed with no battery pack

The product is beautiful and I was so looking forward to using it on international travel. However, it arrived without the battery pack and cord. I was told when I inquired that they can't be sent separately to the US and I needed to have asked for it originally. I think it should have been more clear on the website that it only comes with the pack if you ask for it...I did not notice any opt in/out notice, so now feel it was way overpriced for what I got.
