I am truly appalled by this company

I am truly appalled by this company, I have nothing nice to say about them. I have been delivered an item months ago which was faulty and did not work. I have asked for a replacement or a refund as the sunbeds are not cheap. Months later and still no fair outcome. Bunch of scammers, karma will come princesses

Appalling service and wrong product

Appalling service. We ordered a Collarium and they sent the wrong product. When we emailed them there was no apology or offer to rectify the situation. We received a one sentence response to advise that what we ordered is currently out of stock until the following month - but no explanation as to why this wasn’t communicated to us at the time of ordering, nor reasons for taking it upon themselves to send us the wrong product instead of giving us the option to wait. This is a $6,000 item! We want what we paid for! They are based in Victoria, so fortunately Victoria Consumer Affairs has been contacted. There’s a reason why they don’t have an option to review on their website!

This company has got to be the most…

This company has got to be the most frustrating company I have ever dealt with…or should I say never dealt with as they NEVER call back, emails go unanswered and the live chat is of course an auto response! I am so angry that I forked out over $6000 only to feel ripped off! The transport company they use is equally as useless! I am now attempting to get a refund but finding anyone to speak to is impossible!! Please don’t waste your money or time on this mob, they are absolutely hopeless!!

Purchased a premium soli bed from this company. Product is outstanding and given me a glowing summer beach looking tan. What’s even more impressive is how many compliments I receive from my friends on how great I Look!!They were very helpful when I wanted to adjust my orders.Friendly and highly competent folks.Excellent…I would give them my highest recommendation!

Since collarium was delivered it hasn’t functioned properly I’ve been trying chase it up with sunbeds for over 2 weeks now each time they tell me they will call back in 20 mins then never get back to me and will end the phone call because their computer isn’t working or give me other excuses, every time I call back I need to start from the beginning because they have no recollection of our previous call or messages or emails Thinking I just go to the ombudsman from here

Awful delivery service

Their choice of delivery company is awful - poor communication on delivery dates, lack of urgency to rectify issues, they’ve left me at a loss of income as I’ve taken a day off to receive an item and they changed the delivery date without communicating it. They need to do better. Honestly, avoid using this company if you can and just get a sunbed from somewhere else. Customer service is useless, they aren’t actively following up on disputes. No one is taking responsibility for the lack of communication.

Fantastic! I am over the moon with a recent purchase of a stand up solarium

I recently purchased a stand up solarium and I am thrilled. It has exceeded my expectations.It is built well and it’s very well designed. It is the same, if not more superior to a commercial solarium that once existed in tanning studios.The naive me expected the solarium to be a bit more home friendly and built less solid from mediocre materials. To my surprise it is solid, built with high quality materials and encompasses a slick contemporary design. It has a modern LCD display unit inside the solarium and it even connects to Bluetooth!Below I provide some further insights into my overall experience and dealings with Sunbeds.com.au.Purchase: I found the overall experience of purchasing the product relatively seamless. I called the company and spoke to whom I assume to be the owner. My questions were answered and I proceeded to put down a deposit by way of bank transfer. I received a receipt / invoice the same day. Over a period of a few weeks I transferred additional funds to reduce the balance and I received emails confirming receipt of monies sent / received and an updated invoice each time. I settled the remaining balance when I was advised that the solarium was ready to be delivered to me (about a week prior to receiving the solarium).Timing: From initial enquiry followed by deposit right through to home delivery of the solarium, the timeframe was about 7 or 8 weeks. The estimated timeframe provided to me by the company was 4 weeks, so the process was a little longer than anticipated. But they do say “good things come to those who wait!” 😊Communication: The reason why this review falls short of a 5 star review is due to communication (or lack thereof) with the company. Sunbeds Australia is a little on the difficult side to reach. I sent a couple of emails which went unanswered. I soon realised that it was better to call the company directly rather than email queries or requesting updates. Although, the call wait time on some occasions was 10 minutes or so. Sunbeds Australia should consider reviewing its customer support and communication practices to provide a better customer experience and service. I can look past this though because I understood the company to be a ‘one man band’ set up.Delivery & solarium set-up: The solarium was delivered safely. It was packaged remarkably well. Due to excessive large and bulky boxes / packaging (4 boxes in total), the solarium did not fit in the elevator - once the boxes were opened and the packaging removed, the parts could fit quite snug in the elevator. The parts (specifically the three panels) are heavy though!The solarium was relatively easy to set-up. Two friends assisted me. A few screws here and there were required. Connecting the electrical wires was simple (a matter of connecting the wires by matching their colour). I was surprised at how easy it was to set-up. However, a manual was not provided with the solarium, which was and is disappointing.Final comments: I am thrilled with this purchase and the quality of the product. I found the company relatively easy to deal with and the solarium set-up to be a rather simple process. I can therefore genuinely recommend this company and its products to potential customers.I wanted to post a detailed, honest and recent review of my experience because I do not believe earlier reviews are consistent with my experience. The earlier negative reviews were read and considered prior to me purchasing the solarium. I was partly put off by the comments and nearly didn’t make the purchase. After procrastinating over a few weeks I decided to take the plunge (because owning my own solarium has been a goal I set for myself a few years ago) and I am so pleased I did take the gamble because it has paid off. ***I’m not disputing, minimising or taking away a personal review from anyone. I have no doubt that earlier reviewers experienced a less than ideal service, resulting in less than favourable reviews seen prior to my review. My point above is really about me providing a recent review that is inconsistent to earlier reviews, which simply could be due to Sunbeds Australia improving their customer service and processes in recent times.***
