Elders Beware - Synergy Home-care is a very badly managed and unprofessional organization. They do not return phone calls and they state that they will call and never call. In addition, they overcharged me for services rendered. Brad and company are the definition of "sleazy business practices". I will never use their services again

Horrible office staff with no compassion or willingness to help. You can tell a lot about a company by how its office staff are allowed to conduct themselves. The rudeness, lack of care and rigidity are astonishing. Encourages their employees to not think for themselves or use any discretion in the performance of their jobs, but to simply state policies and refuse to go an extra inch, let alone mile. When this sort of attitude is evident at the top, you can be sure it is trickling down for their entire staff. There are many home healthcare companies out there with long histories and stellar reputations. Seek one of those out and steer clear of this one.
After a fall that required surgery, I needed help at home when my husband was at work. Paul and Ginny from Schaumburg Synergy came to our home promptly to discuss a plan. They were both so friendly and professional, I knew we were in good hands. Shortly after, caregivers began coming in to assist me, and each one was wonderful. At a time when I was extremely in need of help for the most basic of needs, these caregivers not only covered the personal basics, they also helped me with small tasks that I couldn’t perform in the house by myself. Each one was a lovely and dedicated person and I felt comfortable and safe. I was always kept apprised of who was coming and when. Every caregiver was prompt and efficient, even staying late when my husband could not get home in time. Thank you Synergy for taking good care of me when I could not care for myself!! The home caregiver are wonderful not very fond of the staff they have in the office not very professional always give me a different caregiver every week because the one I have always calls off and when I request that one particular caregiver that meets my needs never available
