Overall, I think if you’re preparing for the GMAT on your own, there couldn’t be a better resource. It strikes the ideal balance between depth and breadth, without adding unnecessary complexity or concepts that won’t appear on the actual test. The platform challenges you just the right amount while offering the flexibility to revisit questions, design your own practice modules, and simulate realistic test scenarios. I especially appreciated how thoughtfully it’s structured to support different learning styles, making it easy to focus on weaknesses or build comprehensive skills. That combination of balance, flexibility, and relevance makes it truly exceptional.
Target Test Prep takes the guesswork out of GMAT prep. The study plan is chronologically structured, guiding you step by step while ensuring no topic is skipped or overemphasized. I especially appreciated how Data Insights comes later, once Verbal and Quant foundations are strong. The daily assignments are well calibrated, and the progress bar kept me motivated. Add in the endless quizzes that reinforce learning, and you get a program that is complete, flexible, and truly effective.
After using Magoosh and running out of questions, I needed a more structured approach to improve. Target Test Prep delivered just that with a clear, well-organized path that builds skills step by step. The practice material is deep and varied, never repetitive. Quant has been my biggest weakness, but TTP’s progressive modules give me confidence my skills will improve. The live support from the TTP team is another huge plus - they provide helpful, thoughtful answers quickly. I scored a 655 on my latest Focus test and plan to retake it. I highly recommend TTP for structured, accountable prep.
TTP's structure and customizable calendar is what helped keep me on track and reach my target score. Using TTP Dedicated Study (4-month all-access), I went from a mid-500s in official practice exams to an official 655 (V86, Q82, DI80) in just under four months. After struggling to study on my own because there was too much to keep track of, I was relieved to find that TTP organized a study plan for me. All I had to do was login and complete the daily lessons on the days and hours I decided (customized). Don't forget to schedule your exam for when your plan ends. It kept me on track, showed my progress, and kept me motivated. I found the most value in the Theory section (it was like having your own motivational coach whispering "you got this!" during the stressful process!) and the video/text explanations for EVERY answered question. TTP put in the work to make a really detailed and seamless study plan. Very happy with it!
The live teach was extremely helpful for keeping me on track with my studying, teaching me most common and important questions, and refreshing my long lost knowledge from school. The ability to interact with your instructor and get personalized assistance was key to keeping me engaged and helped me to achieve a great score.
TTP is the most comprehensive Quant prep out there. Combine that with the bi-weekly classes (recommend Ceilidh) and you are sure to be in a great spot come test day. I have 10 years experience in Finance, but many of the Quant subjects I had not touched since late elementary school or HS. TTP got me back up to speed *quickly*. Verbal and RC prep is also quality, but I spent very little time here.Scored a 655 on my first live test (about 100 point improvement) and decided to call it there since I was applying to EMBA programs and that was beyond sufficient.
TTP is an incredibly thorough prep course out. The program covers every topic you could possibly see on test day, and it did so in a way that really left me feeling confident and ready.Going into prep, I had very little confidence in my quant skills, but TTP’s step-by-step approach made it easy to build a solid foundation from the ground up. I had always struggled with word problems in particular, and the course’s detailed explanations and endless practice gave me the tools I needed to tackle them with confidence. The verbal strategies were also incredibly helpful. They showed me how to think about questions logically instead of relying on shortcuts or guesswork.Another thing I really valued was how structured the study plan was. It kept me accountable, but it never felt rigid or overwhelming, since I could move at my own pace. The course also made it easy to measure progress along the way, which gave me a real sense of momentum. After spending a lot of time comparing different options, I couldn’t be happier that I ended up choosing TTP.
TTP is the best one-stop shop for GRE prep that I know of. It's highly structured and focuses test takers on learning the fundamentals - not just testing tricks. TTP may be too intense for some, but for serious test takers, I found it was the best prep resource.
I found Target Test Prep to be extremely effective. While studying for the GMAT is a long process requiring extreme patience and endurance, I followed the process and earned a score far above what I thought I ever could.I particularly valued how thorough the quantitative section was, which I was extremely rusty on. After getting ~50th percentile in quant on my first diagnostic exam, I considered jut giving up, and I'm glad I stuck with it and used TTP to get a score way above what I thought was possible (755) on my first attempt!I was a bit impatient at first because after every new chapter the curriculum includes significant review of the chapter you just completed and the entire coursework you've studied so far, but over time I realized how imperative it was to stay fresh on subjects I studied early on, since the studying process inevitably takes several months if you are working full-time. With hindsight, I think the balance and pacing of new material and review was perfect for moving forward effectively, and I was able to complete my studying in about 3 months while also working over 40 hours per week full-time.
