I've owned this tool for several years and have barely used it—perhaps an hour total—but it has now ceased to function. The armature wire has broken off from the commutator, indicating poor materials and design. I would have been better off with a budget option; this one isn't worth the investment.

I ordered a tool online and ended up with an empty box. I returned it and requested the correct item, which I did receive, but I was charged for both despite returning the empty box. According to the company, they claim I didn't return the faulty item, but I did—since the faulty item was just an empty box!
I bought this tool a year ago for hobby work in flame mode. Initially, it worked well, but now it lights up without producing a flame, and there's a fire inside the shroud. After removing the nozzle, it works but produces an uneven flame that changes shape as it heats up, making it hard to use. The company said the catalyst gauze is the issue, but the spare part isn't available. I've now ordered a more expensive brand hoping for better performance.

You can extend the warranty by a year by registering your product, but I struggled to log into the website on mobile or Firefox. It seems optimized only for Chrome. When I tried to register, the button wouldn't work unless I used the barcode instead of the 10-digit product code that was also supposed to work.
My tool recently started smoking and sparking after only a few uses before it completely stopped. I reached out for support, and they offered repairs at a cost. It seems pointless, as it might end up being more expensive than buying a new one. This is my third tool to fail, and I’m appalled at the short lifespan and the suggestion to pay for repairs.
