Nearly all the items in the store are either scams or marked up excessively, avoid shopping here! I tried to return some action figures after realizing they weren’t legitimate, but they dismissed all claims of selling counterfeit figurines. Disgraceful.
I visited recently and I won’t be returning. I’ve never been so shocked by a store that I felt compelled to write a review. The prices are nothing short of outrageous, especially with so many anime stores nearby offering the same items for much less. I feel for the staff, who seemed overworked without any visible management. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because one staff member was genuinely kind and helped me find what I needed, despite the overall negative experience. The constant questioning from staff about my needs was overwhelming. The use of generative art for their bags is disappointing for a store that claims to support creativity. Save your money; you can find better deals online without the hassle.
I refuse to shop here again; every time I enter, I’m bombarded by the staff asking if I need help. I empathize with the staff since it's not their fault, but the management needs to understand that this approach drives away customers. It’s frustrating to be interrupted while browsing. The AI-generated bags are offensive to the industry they represent. They should hire real artists; it’s embarrassing. The uniforms also lack dignity. While I expect inflated prices in central London, I suggest they focus on offering more secondhand figures to make purchases affordable. They even insult customers who leave bad reviews, which is unprofessional.
This business is clearly exploiting those unfamiliar with the market. They are overcharging every customer in the store. They deserve to go out of business and let a fair company take over. Prices are ridiculously high, and it feels like a scam.
Ripoff! Everything is excessively priced. Next door, you can find items for half the cost! The AI art instead of real packaging is absurd for a store that claims to appreciate anime. The staff are friendly but clearly pressured to bother customers. It’s disappointing to see this in such a tourist area.
They really overprice figures and merchandise. I looked for a specific figure and found it for over 100 in-store, but later found it online for just 15. I’d avoid this place; even for other merchandise, prices are excessive compared to what you can find elsewhere. Their use of AI art is odd, suggesting they can’t afford to hire real artists.
