I would NEVER recommend using The CE Shop for your continuing education! Not only do the courses leave more to be desired, but the bigger reason is the customer service is rude and unwilling to help! Brianna was rude from the time she answered our call!
My husband and I both sell re as a team for 20 years. We often take our continuing education courses virtually. For the first time we thought we would give the CE shop a try. The CE Shop allowed us to purchase two sets of continuing education courses under our own names but utilizing our shared business email account. Once we began taking the courses we realized they were in my husbands name only. I called to inquire about what was happening on my account. The customer service at the CE Shop then told me I needed to purchase my continuing education courses again and under a different email address. And that somewhere in the very finest print it states each user needs their own email. Although their system allowed me to purchase and check out that way. They were not willing to make the error right when I do believe it’s a systematic error that allowed me to create two usernames under the same one email. Their system should have given me a message that the shared email is already in use to prevent situations like this from happening. If you make any mistakes doing your education online, the CE shop is not going to work with you even for a silly mistake as obvious as this one was. Stay away from the CE shop and they’re rude customer service! Zero stars!
UPDATE: BECAUSE I CANT REPLY TO THE CE SHOPS REPLY; my point is that your system should not have allowed me to purchase two individual sets of 20 hours of continuing education with two user names and licensing information under the same email! Your staff was incredibly rude from the very beginning of my call! Instead of understanding my frustration she was dismissive and rude!!!
Your reply is only to attempt to control the narrative but your company needs to do better! Your platform needs to be improved so that your customers can sign up how you need us to!what a waste of time and money!!! I own a statewide brokerage and will never recommend any of our agents use The CE Shop!

The course content for the Wisconsin to Minnesota reciprocity was acceptable—very boring and repetitive, but that’s expected with CE. Unfortunately, the customer service was extremely poor, and their misinformation caused a serious delay in my licensing.
I was repeatedly told by CE Shop representatives that once I completed the course and took the test provided through CE Shop, I was completely finished and should apply for my Minnesota license. I did take one test, which I genuinely believed was the state-required exam, because CE Shop uses PSI and that is exactly what multiple representatives told me. Based on this information, I had no reason to believe anything else was required.
Because of this, I applied for my license right away.
After waiting nearly two months, my application was denied for missing a requirement. At that point, I assumed PSI had failed to submit my test results, since I believed I had already completed the necessary exam. After multiple days of calls and conversations with roughly 20 different CE Shop agents, I finally learned the truth: I never actually took the required state exam. PSI was not at fault at all—the problem was that CE Shop had incorrectly told me there were no additional tests needed.
What made this even more frustrating was that during those multiple days of calls, I was constantly transferred, told to contact someone else, or reassured (incorrectly) that I was done. No one seemed willing to stop and actually investigate the issue.
Eventually, I spoke with one representative named Brianna, who figured out the entire problem within a minute and got me on the right track. That alone shows how easily this could have been resolved much earlier if someone had taken the time to actually help instead of passing me off.
This experience cost me months of time, unnecessary stress, and a delayed license, all due to misinformation and poor customer service. It truly does not take much effort to provide accurate guidance or take ownership of a problem.
I am very disappointed. I strongly recommend verifying everything directly with the state, because relying on CE Shop’s support can lead to costly and avoidable delays. I even tried to get a refund for these lies and I was denied.
I cannot recommend this service at all. I achieved a score of 91 on my final exam, yet I was failed because I "averted my eyes" during the online test. This means I was expected to stare at the camera throughout the entire 100-question exam, as confirmed by them. They also mentioned "rustling of paper," referring to the two sheets I used for my calculations, which I had shown during the video exam. They claimed, "you can look away from the computer camera for one second occasionally," which is absurd. I use the paper to note questions I want to revisit and to cross out incorrect answers. After a lengthy 30-minute call, they informed me that the only option was to retake the exam, which I now have to do this evening. As if taking a test isn't stressful enough, now I have to worry about these unreasonable monitoring requirements. I strongly advise avoiding this service due to the mandatory remote monitoring.
WHY DID I NEED TO PROVIDE YOU WITH MY DRIVERS LICENSE NUMBER? YOU HAD MY CREDENTIALS - THIS IS JUST ONE MORE PLACE THAT MY IDENTITY CAN BE STOLEN OR MY CREDIT HACKED. THE CLASSES WERE JUST TOO BORING AND L O N G ! SOME SECTIONS IN THE FAIR HOUSING AREA WENT ON AND ON AND ON AND GOT SO CONFUSING ABOUT WHICH RULE WENT WHERE. WHY DIDN'T YOU BREAK THE UP A BIT? I WON'T BE BACK.
For me, the language is understanding value obligation and deed. talk to a young woman in Florida. She said it’s a buyer beware state. I thought due diligence was part of the ethics Creed. It isn’t so I’d like to see more warnings material that tells you how some just bold face lie.
