Review Time
I purchased the Explorer Series, magnetic display board, and sharpener as a Christmas gift. I felt compelled to leave a review because this set is truly beautiful, and after witnessing them in use, I plan to buy a set for myself! The customer service team has surpassed all my expectations with their prompt responses and attentiveness. I highly recommend this company!
I'm not quite sure what went wrong, but my partner ended up ordering a five-piece knife set and a dual grit stone for $462.99. She quickly contacted the company to cancel the order. Nine days later, we received an email stating: "Order #xxxxx was canceled at your request and your payment has not yet been refunded." Now, a month has passed, and we still have no knives or refund. We hope they will notice this and reach out, as they haven't responded to our bank or us.

In my view, this knife appears and feels very low quality. I purchased a 6” Santoku Knife from the Explorer Series and found its fit and finish lacking, the handle uncomfortable, and the weight and balance unsatisfactory. The included sheath felt flimsy and had an unusual odor. Initially, I thought the upper part of the blade was black due to hand forging, but it seems to just be painted black, raising doubts about whether it was genuinely hand-forged. I'm also concerned it might wear off into my food. The knife I received was quite dull compared to others I've purchased. Be sure to read the 30-day satisfaction guarantee carefully; you must return it in new condition with all packaging. The return process was slow for me, requiring multiple communications. Ultimately, after declining their offers to keep the knife at a discount, I was informed a full refund would be issued, which was a nice gesture. However, I cannot recommend this knife as I believe there are much better options available at this price.
I purchased a Dual Sided Solid Acacia Wood Magnetic Knife Block and found it very disappointing. The block was made of cheap MDF with a thin veneer, which wouldn't last long. The return and refund process took nearly two months as I had to continuously follow up with the representative for details and an RA. I suggest avoiding this company.
The knives we received were of high quality and very sharp. We ordered a set and an additional knife, along with a leather roll. Although I forgot to add the free knife from the original promotion, customer support honored the offer and sent me a free knife of my choice. That's impressive customer service! We will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

I was instructed to provide photographs and reasons for the return, despite their satisfaction guarantee. I complied, but customer service warned that disputing the charge could lead to collection actions. This level of threat is unusual and unacceptable, especially when they don't adhere to their own return policy. I never leave negative reviews, but this experience has been frustrating. I suggest avoiding this company.
