The young make assistant was very helpful to me, the questions I asked that he couldn’t answer he quickly found out for me. It was a very pleasant shopping experience, resulting in me purchasing the pro cook 4 slice toaster, it is well worth the money.
We visited the metrocentre procook, to buy some knives for our daughter, excellent service. Polite, helpful staff. Clean store. I purchased an egg slicer as well, I am nit sure yet, as it didnt slice the egg, I'll try again, maybe the egg was too soft.
The sales assistant Mel was absolutly superb,i didnt know what sort of set i was looking for until she explained in detail all of the details for all types they sold,ended up buying the full set of the signature series set and must say very very happy with the product
Bought one of the new cast iron casserole dishes. Looks great but followed the cooking instructions to add oil and spices. Cooked a simple vegetation meal. All good until cleaning. Left to soak after cooling, no joy. Used silicone cloth still no joy. Probably the worst non stick pan we have ever bought. Left to soak overnight. Still got black stuck on areas. Called the helpline to be told that as it's used nothing they can do. I'm not sure what you are supposed to do, maybe just keep it to look nice. Luckily paid by card so the card provider are cancelling payment. Really disappointing as looks great.
We were looking for steak knives ones like Miller & Carter use. The gent whom served us was helpful and efficient, we were able to look at the knives and compare it to a screenshot I had on my phone. Pleased to say they were the same and we made a purchase. We've yet to use them but there a good weight and chunky steak knife with a good price and long warranty..
I bought a pizza oven which isn't working and I have been asked to pack it up and drop it off at a DPD point. I haven't got this option so I have asked them to have it collected. Hopefully they will collect it as its's too heavy for me to carry.
What a great shop and never knew it existed until now. We use to visit the music shop near it but that closed down so no reason to visit the street. However, glad we purchased a new knife for our Kitchen and it’s been a lot better than many others we have used over the years. So well done e Procook and will be using them again.
