He changed my running for the best! His knowledge on nutrition has completely changed my fueling which has helped me exceed all my expectations with running. With the right his recommendation I managed to run a 17:24 5km and a 3:10 marathon with limited training. Strongly recommend!!
Let me start by saying I am a middle of the pack average female runner who woke up one day and thought it would be a good idea to run a 200+ mile race (clearly a midlife crisis), my 2nd brainwave (and the smarter one) was that I was going to need some help which is where Howard came into my life.Working with Howard was amazing; with his help I not only achieved my goal of running a 200+ miler, but I also ran my road marathon pb and a sub 24 hour 100 miler. He put in training that I wouldn't of thought of and kept me motivated during the inevitable low spots. Howard looked at all the elements of my life, from diet to sleep to training to work life to ensure I had a tailored plan that worked best for me. Having a coach isn't just for the elites its for anyone trying to achieve a lifetime goal.
I initially signed up with Howard with a goal to run my first Ultra with only a small amount of running and racing knowledge. In just a few months my fitness and confidence in road and trail running has dramatically improved. Really excited to see where the next 6 months go in the build up to my first ultra. Howard’s quick to respond, full of knowledge and definitely a great coach to work with no matter your goal weather you’re just starting off running or have been running for years. In addition to clear technical knowledge he is very supportive and understands the 'soft' side of coaching as well. Howard is a fantastic coach who I highly recommend. Over the past couple I’ve finally managed to get some speed back over the last couple of years over shorter distances with Howard helping me to rethink the way that I train, recover and also fuel by body both before, during and after running/ racing. Howard is available to amend my training plan around balancing my busy life/ and a stressful job and also whilst managing a health condition. He also always manages to make me feel better when I am being harsh on myself for a session or race not going quite to plan!

I signed up to my second big race but lacked the knowledge of how to train for it. Howard set me a progressive plan that was specific to me which enabled me to smash my goal of finishing the race ! If I had any injuries or personal issues that affected training he was quick to reply & get the plan adjusted to suit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thanks again, mate !
