Please read this review before booking…

Please read this review before booking your dream holiday with SOTC India. Your money is not safe with SOTC India. SOTC Travel Limited, formerly SOTC Travel Private Ltd as well as Kuoni Travel (India) Pvt. Ltd., is a step-down subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings Group; held through two companies, its Indian listed subsidiary, Thomas Cook (India) Limited (TCIL) and TCIL's subsidiary Travel Corporation (India) Ltd.Booked our second overseas holiday package with SOTC. Paid up front, as asked, to secure the booking.During the early days of covid 19, during strict lockdown in India and overseas, and after me following up on the status on of our tour, I received standard canned message from SOTC that they were only confirming tour status for people travelling within 14-30 days. So I respected their request, only to be told later (~2 months before posting this review) that our tour (departing mid june2020) is cancelled but a refund is NOT possible. Absolutely devastated. The stress and anxiety caused financially and emotionally by SOTC is greater than whats caused by covid 19. To deal with this company ignoring our requests and complaints for refunds is very stressful. We are being encouraged to take a credit of our money paid and travel against our health and safety.I have raised complaints for the past 1 month+ to my local(city) SOTC representatives, regional(state) SOTC representatives and also to the country head of customer service and even to the head & president of luxury travel in India. Not a single response from the head of customer service. No resolution even after escalation to country head. Everyone's gone quiet. I've come to know a lot of tour and travel company recently who've stepped up and taken very good care of their customers during this crisis. Earning goodwill and offering great customer experience in times of need. I have a list of of these providers, so get in touch if you want to engage travel companies where your money is safe . I missed this due-diligence before booking mine. Very disorganized company

Very disorganized company, tour packages are pawned off as sub contracts to local travel managers Very rude customer care, there is no co ordination between staff and Indian website is really pathethic, Refunds are literally impossible, Avoid Thomas cook for domestic tours and travels
