Disappointing Visit to the Museum

It’s hard to understand how the 'Grand' Egypt Museum lacks exhibits from Gizeh and the Pyramids. The audio guide's headphones were uncomfortable, and the chapters were disorganized. Additionally, there was only a brief segment on Tutankhamun with no detailed storytelling. Overall, my experience was quite disappointing. Such a shame.

Made me wait by the entrance close to…

Made me wait by the entrance close to an hour with 3 small children. I booked a 2.30pm slot for the Paddington bear experience received confirmation and then shortly after a message on WhatsApp stating the 2.30pm slot was full and I had to select another time slot, I was giving a few options and went ahead and selected the 3.30pm time slot which was given to me, received confirmation of that booking via text however shortly after got the email confirmation which stated 4pm! I then messaged saying why is my time slot 4pm when I chose 3.30pm only to be told the 3.30pm also sold out but was assured that I would be able to enter from 3.30pm even though booking was now 4pm. Upon arrival I was told I’m not able to access before 4pm and that the booking system is a 3rd party one and they couldn’t do anything about it, had to wait to the side of the queue for nearly 45min with a baby and 2 toddlers.

It was a great pleasure to visit the Dubai Museum of Future.The architecture and construction are impressive and it is a lot of fun to explore the exhibits.

Amazing place but too busy

Amazing place, packed full of information. It was very cleverly laid out and I found the lights and sounds helped build the emotion of the experience. However it was just too too busy. In some areas it was impossible to read the information as it was too crowded. There were quite a few young children there when I visited - I’m not sure how great the experience would be for them?I booked on line which turned out to be more expensive than on the door.

Entry by advance online booking only (if you're lucky)!

Entry is only possible by purchasing tickets online. Many appear to do this only when realising they simply can't pay to enter (like most normal establishments). However, you can also purchase tickets for future dates, e.g the next day, which is what I did, 22 euros for 2 tickets. However, upon arrival the next day there was a wedding on in the Cathedral and access was prohibited (naturally). I complained online the next day and although replies were quick and in my own language the answer was essentially "tough"! T&Cs blah blah when the booking system allowed my payment without detailing any visiting restriction hours (which they claimed in the customer service replies). No refund, no justification. I advise you to book online as you are at the entrance to avoid paying to be told you didn't follow the rules. Why you should have to pay to enter any religious establishment is beyond me anyway - not very inclusive if you ask me. All up.. one star and that's only because there's not an option to leave NO STARS!

Egal was für mögliche Probleme auftreten vor Ort, ihr Geld sehen sie nie wieder. Sparen sie sich den Ärger und kaufen sie direkt beim Veranstalter!Probleme vor Ort mit dem Eintritt, Verkäufer zeigt sich uneinsichtig und verweist auf das kleingedruckte das nie erhalten wurde, selbst auf Nachfrage. Angaben auf dem Ticket/Voucher entsprechen nicht der vor Ort Gegebenheiten.WARNING: This is a ticket reseller! Regardless of what the confirmation email you receive states, it is invalid. No matter what problems arise on-site, you will never see your money again. Save yourself the hassle and buy directly from the organizer!Problems arose with entry on site, the seller was uncooperative and referred to the fine print, which was never provided, even after being asked. Information on the ticket/voucher did not match the actual situation on site.
