I accidentally purchased incorrect date tickets late in the evening.. I immediately sent an email explaining my dilemma, I received an email back immediately explaining it will be dealt with asap. On waking next morning, I had an email back with my new tickets and full explanation as how to deal with the new tickets. Very helpful and very effecient
So many issues were bad. 1 star was too many. Ineffective booking prodedure, inability to access the site at the venue even though tickets were clearly visible prior to the event. Transfer system flawed and inability to respect privacy of emails. Sending pdf tickets to booking email is definitely preferred.
I am quite prepared to admit I am not very good with mobile phones (although computers give me few problems) but evidently my phone was not sufficiently up-to-date to accept Ticketmaster's app. When up-dated Apple locked the phone and demanded a passcode which I don't know. The phone is currently useless and will require a technician to fix (at a cost). I have never had any trouble printing off paper tickets. I got into the opera because of phone calls to Opera Victoria who had cardboard tickets (remember those?) waiting for me at the box office. I will not use Ticketmaster again whilst it does not offer an alternative to mobile phones as the method of entry to theatres. Doubtless I will miss performances I should like to see but I already miss performances in London, New York, etc., because it's too hard to get there. Ticketmaster have made it too hard to get there in a different way.
