Lovely pieces, well designed and look good in the space. We purchased a large desk, headboard, outdoor chair and chest of drawers. Nicely made and such a treat to receive solid wood again - I am so over flat pack mdf furniture! Would definitely order again. The chest of drawers seems slightly clumsy on its runners but is very aesthetically pleasing. Otherwise all seems very solid.
I am pleased with the Tikamoon products that I've bought, the issue is with delivery and the customer service.BJS "delivered" a rattan chair last Tuesday, ramming it through, and damaging in the process, my front door.I immediately sent photographic evidence to Tikamoon and made numerous phone calls to BJS. Neither seem willing to address this issue.I cannot recommend either company and sadly will not be purchasing from Tikamoon, or indeed any company who use BJS, again.
Bought small walnut bathroom vanity unit paid nearly £600.Received badly made with some imperfections.Customer service advised me that all their products have some imperfections so they wouldn’t be able to send me a perfect one.I was shocked.
This could easily have been 5☆. I am extremely happy with the TV unit though delivery was exactly 2 months after order placed and paid for which is perhaps a little slow. However, I was very disappointed and upset by the fact that it wasn't to be unpacked. This was a big item ( 180 cm long) and extremely heavy ( solid oak). I am 77 year old woman with osteoporosis, I live alone and there was no way that I could unpack it - it was set upright and if that had toppled onto me it could have killed me or would have broken many bones. I really think that the fact that it is delivered with no unpacking should be made more clear ( I understand that it is in the small print) as it is not a suitable item for single people like me to receive. I was fortunate that the delivery chaps didn't want to haul the heavy unit down 36 steps as a return and did unpack it ( took less than 5mins) but left me with an enormous cardboard box and lots of packaging. How to get rid of that means getting hard cardboard into manageable size pieces and having a 36 mile round trip to the tip - easy for most, I'm sure but not so for me.I do like my unit, the quality is great and I had planned other items to match it but because of the hassle with the unpacking I will look elsewhere. Sorry.
For a company offering high value products, their customer service is poor.The quality of the products is questionable also. We purchased a terrazzo sink unit that cracked within the first 6 months. Their customer service team eventually offered a replacement but no support in covering the cost of the installation which solely caused by their faulty product.
We have now ordered two items from Tikamoon. The first was a desk from their Oslo range. We didn't think too much of it when it arrived with some minor issues (a misaligned handle and a sticky drawer runner), especially as the item was usable while we waited for replacement parts to be sent out.A year or so later we decided to add a matching chest of drawers. Unfortunately the item arrived severely damaged. We understand this sort of thing can happen but Tikamoon handled it terribly. First they offered an insulting partial refund, that would have meant us paying £500 (around 80% RRP) for an item that was visibly broken and possibly not even stable. Of course we refused this and asked for a replacement. We were told we had to fully unpackaged the item and send photos so they could identify it. When all was fine with that we were told we had to fully repackage it. We tried to explain that due to my partner being pregnant and us having very limited floorspace this was almost impossible but they weren't willing to make alternative arrangements with a courier. We now have the replacement and we're happy with it, but we've been burned by the poor customer service and we doubt we'd risk the hassle again.
