I ordered a sideboard from Tikamoon costing over £1,100 and was extremely disappointed when it arrived with significant structural damage. The left door frame was split and partially detached, causing the panel to drop and the frame to bow. The front plinth had come away from the frame exposing unstained wood, the right plinth was misaligned with a visible gap at the mitre joint, and there was also a hairline split in the countertop. This was not minor cosmetic damage — the unit was effectively unusable on delivery.Customer service were polite and responsive, but the resolution was frustrating. The maximum partial refund offered for keeping the damaged unit was £260, which felt very low given the extent of the damage and the original price. A replacement would have taken around 10 weeks, which wasn’t realistic just before Christmas, so we reluctantly kept it.The designs are attractive, but quality control and after-sales flexibility need improvement. Overall, a disappointing experience for a premium-priced item.
**UPDATE: They've responded to say they increased the refund offer, this was still only 10%. Really dissatisfied and will not be shopping here again.**Not good at all, the £1700 sink unit we ordered is cheap and a much darker colour than the “oak” it claims to be. It feels almost like plastic. The drawers are just for aesthetic purposes so it isn’t even very functional. I tried to complain and the best they could offer me was a 10% refund. Really bad, I would avoid at all costs.
Let my story be a warning.I've ordered the Oliver tv unit about 2 years ago for about 800 pounds. The delivery took over 6 (!) months, with endless calls and emails, and when it finally arrived, some of the planks had gaps, as if the glue came undone. I've tried returning, but stupidly I have accepted the 100 pounds refund and decided to keep the item. Now, a year and a half later, the whole unit is coming apart, as the wood is not joined but merely glued together, and is warping. None of my other solid wood furniture pieces are doing that, so it's not a humidity/sun problem. STAY AWAY.
Very happy with our order. The tv unit we bought was perfect for the space and came beautifully packaged. The piece went on sale basically straight after we bought it but upon emailing the customer services team they refunded the difference. Stellar customer service and furniture!
I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with Tikamoon’s delivery service. This is now the third time my delivery has been delayed, and it’s completely unacceptable. The repeated delays have caused a great deal of inconvenience, and I’m losing patience. If my order is not delivered by the end of this week, I will have to demand a full refund. I simply cannot continue dealing with this poor service.I expected much better from a company with this reputation. Extremely disappointed.
Beautiful furniture - a cut above most of what you can get elsewhere (unless you go bespoke). The wood in this unit is really lovely (it is nice to find something made from solid wood) and the piece is excellent quality. Plenty of good packaging to prevent any damage, This lovely piece has finished off my office space nicely!
Lovely pieces, well designed and look good in the space. We purchased a large desk, headboard, outdoor chair and chest of drawers. Nicely made and such a treat to receive solid wood again - I am so over flat pack mdf furniture! Would definitely order again. The chest of drawers seems slightly clumsy on its runners but is very aesthetically pleasing. Otherwise all seems very solid.
