The visa application portal link for TLScontact, provided via the UK Home Office, is currently not accessible. The website does not load, making it impossible to register accounts.
This technical failure is impacting visa applicants throughout the UK and causing serious delays in a time-critical process. Immediate action is required to resolve this issue.
Hope I could give zero. Trying 100 times to book an appointment but keep getting blank page and now error page. Keep trying using differen web browsers (Chrome/Firefox/Safari), normal or private, with different devices (laptop/phone) but unable to proceed. Unfuncationable and unusable site without any help or report button stressing applicants. Outraged.
The staffs were professional and helpful in guiding me through the application process. Besides, the application and the appointment booking systems were also user friendly.
We attended a biometrics appointment for my young son and arrived about 15 minutes late. Thankfully, the staff accommodated us, which we appreciated. After a brief wait, we submitted our appointment confirmation and passport. The officer assisting us greeted us with a frown and provided instructions bluntly. My son faced difficulties with the fingerprint scanner due to his height. Despite my son's clear discomfort, the officer appeared irritated and shouted at us. I tried to explain we weren't playing, but he raised his voice again. I wanted to complete the process without causing my son more distress. Afterward, I asked for the officer's name to provide feedback, but he refused and belittled me. He insisted everything was recorded on CCTV, as if that justified his behavior. Another staff member tried to ease the situation, but it was hurtful to hear my child blamed. The manager was calm and respectful, assuring me he would address the staff's behavior. While most of the team was professional, one officer's conduct significantly impacted our experience. I hope the relevant authorities take note, especially in family interactions.
We visited the service for my young son's biometrics appointment and arrived about 15 minutes late. Thankfully, the staff accommodated us, which we appreciated. After a brief wait, we submitted our appointment confirmation and passport. The officer assisting us greeted us with a frown and gave instructions in a blunt manner. My son's photo was taken without issue, but he struggled with the fingerprint scanner due to his height and the angle. Despite my son's discomfort, the officer appeared irritated and shouted at us to stop adjusting the scanner. I tried to remain calm, wanting to finish the process without further distress for my son. Afterward, when I asked for the officer's name to provide feedback, he refused and belittled me, claiming I had no right to ask. He insisted everything was recorded on CCTV as if that justified his behavior. Another staff member attempted to calm the situation, but it was painful to hear my child being blamed. Appointments for free services are limited, yet there are many available for expensive extras that aren't very useful. Appointments often get canceled without warning as soon as you log in. It feels like the company is pushing paid services for something that should be free, making it extremely difficult to access the free options. This is mandated by law and should simply involve submitting fingerprints and documents, which is not complicated and shouldn't cost a fortune.
Once again, there are no available appointments for France visas. You have to navigate multiple pages to search for them, but none are open, and then the website locks you out for two hours. This is due to bots booking all the slots in advance and reselling them. We’ve even had people approach us in line trying to sell slots. Last time, there was a brief period of availability after I complained, but it quickly returned to showing no appointments. It seems they can identify and delete bot-booked slots, but you need to complain first to get that done.
