Great experience! Ordered their box online. Was delivered from Germany swiftly. Attached it to my windscreen as instructed. Worked like a charm in both France and Spain not one issue. It saved so much time to my journey wish I had bought this little gadget earlier. Have not experienced billing side of things yet but am confident all will be well going by my very positive experience with Tolbird thus far.
I recently purchased Tollbird to drive through France into Spain for our holiday. Never driven in France but wanted to get through fairly quickly. Tollbird can be used in multiple countries so looked like a good option. I'm currently still in Spain but can honestly say on the way down my tollbird was faultless. Sometimes the tolls took a few seconds to register and a couple of times I thought it wasn't going to work but it did. Probably more my inpatients kicking in. I've read a few reviews that say terrible customer service or the box didn't turn up or that it just didn't work. I've had no dealings with customer service as I haven't needed to so I can't say either way there but in general the box has been good for me. I would say make sure you order it well before your trip as it comes from Germany and make sure you are in the correct lanes at the toll booths. I've had 5 withdrawals from my bank which seem to tally up with the route we took, cost of about £130 so all in all I've not had any problems as yet.
Got to be the worst company for trying to contact I have ever come across. Check this before buying as like me if you try to conatct them after purchasing they do not reply and have no contact number. I cancelled delivery of mine and after a month still have not had a refund. I have been emailing every 3 days to be ignored. Do not buy, in my mind the measure of a company is its aftersales service. These have none.
OMG... stay as far away as you possibly can from these people. They have absolutely NO idea of what they are doing, they will make a transaction on your account for each and every time you pass the toll booth making the number of transactions explode on your bank account.They NEVER respond to your emails...Reconciliations between Toll Transactions and billed amounts NEVER reconcile...Customer service is as useful as a melted chocolate teapot...Weeks after I stopped using their service they continued to charge my account and I had to remove the original bank card and replace it with one with zero balance so they would no longer charge me...They say that is because allegedly "Telepass made a mess and they are still fixing it" but in reality, even the very first transactions were a total mess...Have I said enough? Stay AWAY !!!!!
