Account Banned Without Explanation — Active Catalog Left Unmanageable
I've been using Too Lost as a distributor for my label (E3 Publishing Co.) and had recently transferred a portion of my catalog to them using their own official transfer tool, making them my sole active distribution arrangement for several works. On February 17, 2026, I received a notification that my account had been banned for "non-compliance with Terms of Service" — with no specific explanation, no prior warning, and no outlined appeal process.
I immediately submitted a dispute via both email and their support contact form, explaining my situation clearly: I'm an independent artist, producer, and label operator with over 20 years of experience, with active releases on all major streaming platforms that I can no longer manage, update, or initiate takedowns on. I provided identity verification, screenshots from my SoundExchange and ASCAP portals, and offered to supply any additional documentation required. I received only a generic auto-response.
On February 18, I submitted a formal follow-up from my label email with additional credentials and documentation. On February 25 — 8 days after the ban — I followed up again asking for an appeal status update and clarification on next steps. Too Lost's reply that same day was a single paragraph stating my appeal would be reviewed and I would be notified if reinstated — no timeline, no explanation, no acknowledgment of the specific issues raised.
As of today, nearly 10 days after the ban, I remain completely locked out of my portal with no ability to manage my releases, respond to rights issues, or protect my intellectual property. This is not a minor inconvenience — this is a serious operational risk for any working artist or label.
I'm leaving this review not purely out of frustration, but because artists deserve transparency and due process from their distributor. I remain open to a resolution and will absolutely update this rating if Too Lost reinstates access or provides a clear, good-faith explanation. Until then, I'd strongly encourage any independent artist or label operator to carefully weigh the risks before making Too Lost a distribution partner.
Toolost Is reliable company, I have used them more than two years, everything and payments go smoothly. However we need to hold copyright authorization or copyright owner or original content in order to distribute with them . Highly recommend!
As an independent artist, I trusted Too Lost with my catalog and paid their fees in good faith. This has been a nightmare. They have charged me (approx. $37 USD / ₹3,100 INR), but they have failed to distribute my music.
The worst part is their "support." There is none. My support tickets are repeatedly closed without any response or explanation. Direct emails to their support team go unanswered. I am currently stuck with a financial loss and no way to get my music out or my money back.
If you are a serious artist, do not risk your money or your music with Too Lost. They will trap your release and ghost you.

"Invalid artwork" 🤕
There are a lot of bugs on the website as well as in the app. Imagine—I’m not even able to distribute my new releases. Everything seems fine, yet it keeps showing an artwork error, even though I know there’s nothing wrong with it.
Also, sometimes the navigation buttons between the “New Release” information steps don’t work at all. I’m currently facing several issues that are preventing me from completing my release.
Please look into this as soon as possible.
I've had a positive experience overall :) The collection of royalties is a bit slower compared to other competitors, but the process is always pleasant and smooth. I recommend using this service for distribution based on my personal experience!
Our music was rejected multiple times without any clear or useful explanation. There was no detailed feedback, no specific policy cited, just vague replies and generic statements. As artists, we are expected to address issues — but how can we do that when the problems aren’t even explained? Each rejection feels random, as if decisions are made behind the scenes, leaving artists in the dark. Responses from support are slow and seem to be copy-pasted. There is no genuine communication, accountability, or respect for the artist’s time or effort. If music is going to be rejected, professionalism requires at least an explanation. Transparency should be the minimum standard for any distribution service.
I submitted a support ticket with the service on June 6, 2025, due to a significant gap between platform performance and the royalties received. For six months, I was told my case was 'under investigation,' yet I received no concrete analysis, detailed report, or proof. After waiting half a year for a real answer, I got the same generic response that was sent at the beginning. The message stated that digital service providers process payments with a 4 to 6 month delay and that 'all earnings have already been properly credited.' This explanation does not match the actual data. Platform A – Plays: June/2025: 4,408,515 May/2025: 6,268,133 April/2025: 8,401,491 March/2025: 6,148,486 February/2025: 4,085,821 January/2025: 11,243,285 December/2024: 24,881,689 November/2024: 11,173,381 October/2024: 29,318,118 September/2024: 129,604 August/2024: 29,592 Total received from Platform A: USD 177.81 Platform B – Uses: June/2025: 10,465,468 May/2025: 10,605,734 April/2025: 7,825,904 March/2025: 7,009,488 February/2025: 5,431,749 January/2025: 8,047,983 December/2024: 4,746,845 November/2024: 5,810,872 October/2024: 1,761,027 September/2024: 53,708 August/2024: 7,828 Total received from Platform B: USD 82.59 All these figures relate to periods well beyond the 4–6 month window mentioned by the service. We are discussing tens of millions of plays and uses, leading to extremely low payouts with no reasonable proportionality or transparent explanation. I clearly highlighted this in my replies. Instead of addressing the issue, the service simply closed my ticket without a response. No breakdown. No clarification. No evidence. Just a closure message stating that I could open another ticket if needed. I initiated a second ticket raising the same concern, and the same thing occurred again: after a few days, the ticket was closed by their team without any meaningful response. This is not transparency. This is not support.
Closing tickets without answering after months of waiting is profoundly unprofessional and raises serious concerns about royalty reporting and accountability. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the service to any artist who values clear communication, fair reporting, and basic respect.
2 years it went from good to bad they take all your money and freeze up the account. Let me say look at these 5 star reviews ........they post all at same time. They ask us to leave 5 stars but look at them half of them are from they own people that work there!!!!! I met Jake I think he junked and it seem like they all frauds .
THIEVES. I uploaded a lot of music with TooLost and got millions of streams, conveniently they terminated my account just as I was due to receive my first royalties being paid out. I have been in touch and they pointed me to the anti fraud policy (I didn't do anything wrong) in there it says they will keep my money (tens of thousands of dollars) in escrow for a maximum of 5 years. RIDICULOUS. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I have made a withdrawal to my earnings and i sent them to my pay pal account 5 times my payment was not sent because they have a problem with sending payment in PayPal and the support team send me a message to send my payment in in another way so i chose to send them with tipalti and I have no more information from support team what i need to do next they do provide the full information what to do and iam in top tier subscription label. I hope this time I get my payment
