I purchased a portable A/C unit for my small bedroom, and it has been fantastic. The 10,200 BTU model with a dehumidifier works so well that I decided to get another one for my mom's living room. Living in Florida, where the humidity is quite high, this unit has made a significant difference. The delivery was prompt, and both units are performing wonderfully. Tracking the order was easy once it shipped. I also just ordered a tower fan and am eagerly awaiting its arrival on Monday.
Worst customer service / Worst users manual. Electrical diagram does not make sense and very vague. You call customer service then they take info and convey to tech support and tech support respond you via email. Each and every tech support responses are email link referring to use manual which is worthless. I could not figure out much therefore I called a local HVAC company and they could not figure out and when they contacted customer service / the same answer.
I ordered a mini-split from TosotDirect. Packaging & delivery were both excellent. The features offered in the TOSOT mini-split products were a step ahead of the competition in terms of value. As my unit was recently installed, I cannot judge either reliability or durability yet.
I bought and installed a 24,000 BTU single zone unit back in about July and the results have been great so far. it was to replace a window unit in our older home that struggled to keep things cool and kept the electricity bill really high. The first full month of using the TOSOT mini split our utility bill was a full hundred dollars a month cheaper and we stayed far more comfortable. It’s been about three months now and the bill stays consistently $100 less than what we were used to, this thing is great! Will be trying out the heater function soon, hopefully it is as impressive as the cooling. Thanks TOSOT!
I have now installed 5 of these in our home. A/C has worked better than we had hoped.However we really wanted these for the heating portion. We have had wood heat only for many years.So far we have had several nights below freezing in Idaho, and units have worked amazing. Had problems with one 9K unit not heating. After working with support we will be getting another one sent to us. Great customer service
I purchased two units from TOSOT. I had a small issue with one of the units during install and contacted their support department. I received an immediate response and the issue was resolved immediately. Great company with outstanding support. I highly recommend TOSOT if you are looking for a quality product at a great price.
