Bought a Kitchen aid dishwasher from Lowe’s back in September 2025. In January 2026(4 months later) it wouldn’t drain and was giving me the error code related to the drain pump. Called in to submit a warranty repair and the soonest they could get a repair scheduled was a month. So I wait a month for the repair guy to come, and he doesn’t have the right part with him, so now I have to wait 3 more weeks for him to come back. Called back into Kitchenaid to see if there was another option. Three different people from Kitchenaid all told me the same thing. That I had no other option than to wait. I would caution anyone reading this against buying an appliance from the Kitchenaid/Whirlpool family. Having to wait 2 months for a repair on an appliance that I’ve only had for 4 months is crazy and I can’t believe that they think that is ok. I will personally never buy another appliance again from any of the brands they own.
They somehow managed to omit part of my address to the courier - spent 6 hours at home waiting for delivery, 45 minutes on hold with the courier to find out why delivery was cancelled and an hour on hold with Kitchenaid to initiate a refund, so I could buy from Breville instead. Which I should have done in the first place. Pay now or pay later. Awful company.
If I could give a -10 I would. Absolutely pointless 1 hr 15 min wait. Don't waste your time! First question she asked after listening to me tell her the oven didn't heat up when on bake mode was "which rack was your food on"
I have requested confirmation from Pavlos in Kitchen Aid customer service that he has received both the receipt and video of the faulty item, I done this twice and still waiting for their response. This is awful lack of care for the customer, I'm not holding out any hope of getting my problem resolved despite it's under the manufacturers GUARANTEE
I have owned a kitchen appliance for many years, and after it broke around Christmas, I ordered a new one on New Year's Day through the company's website. Almost two weeks later, it still hasn't arrived; it's stuck in a distribution hub in England while I live in Scotland. The delivery service informed the company that they attempted delivery twice, but their tracking shows no such attempts, and the package hasn't even crossed the border. The company's support has been extremely unhelpful, refusing to cancel the order and process a new one until they receive the original back. I didn't make this purchase for leisure; I intended to use it. The customer service is unacceptable. I strongly advise against using their service.

Even though it was under warranty, the company and the retailer suggested repairing or rebuilding the refrigerator through a third-party service instead of offering a replacement. This led to long hold times, numerous calls, and reliance on a small loaner fridge during the holidays. Consumers should note: a high price tag does not ensure reliability or a satisfactory solution when a major defect arises.
I can't speak to the quality of their products, as I've always heard they are costly yet well-made, but using them is impossible due to the terrible website. It's completely ineffective! There's no support available either, making it impossible to reach out for a manual. If they struggle with something as straightforward as a manual download, I can only assume the company is lacking...
As a homebuilder and developer in the North Alabama area, I have relied on these appliances in my personal homes for over 25 years. My latest home, just over five years old, featured a complete set of these appliances. Unfortunately, my ice maker failed at just over five years, leading to a $600 expense for a new compressor, and now it has failed again after only a year. Additionally, my built-in microwave, also just over five years old, is rusting inside and nearly caught fire recently, necessitating its replacement along with the trim kit. I have always praised these appliances to countless customers, but I feel compelled to share that the quality has significantly declined, and I will no longer choose these for any future homes I build, nor will I recommend them based on my recent experiences with five-year-old appliances.
The customer service line is not functional! I received a gift voucher from my partner, but it never worked. When I tried to redeem it, I discovered that the 25% discount was applied incorrectly. This is absurd. I want to cancel and discuss this with someone, as I might have opted for a larger item. Please provide a working number! I have an older appliance that I love, but the support has been very disappointing.
We purchased a range of appliances, and both the refrigerator and oven are problematic, with issues that the company is aware of but refuses to address. The retailer also offers no assistance, directing us back to the manufacturer. I will never buy from this retailer or the manufacturer again. This situation has prompted many others to rate the company poorly, so proceed with caution. This is not how a business should operate.
