My trip to Oman was a great mixture of challenging hiking and rewarding scenery. It was really awesome to experience a new country this way and with a lovely group of people. Big thanks to Trailmates Adventures and to Rawnaq Travel Oman for the organization and activities!
I just completed a hiking trip in Oman, and it was truly remarkable. I was seeking a blend of real adventure and a supportive community, and the service exceeded my expectations on both fronts. The group was exceptionally warm and inviting. It felt more like a journey with friends than a standard tour. We not only explored the mountains, but also immersed ourselves in Omani hospitality and enjoyed authentic local cuisine. Everything was meticulously organized, making it an adventure with an incredible group of people!

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and the experience it offered. The hikes were stunning, with options for easier alternatives on the more challenging days, which I found very helpful. The other participants were wonderful, and we all supported one another. Our evenings were spent enjoying group dinners in the local town. I highly recommend this trip.
I've just returned from a fantastic week in Oman! This trip felt genuinely authentic and was my first experience with this tour provider. I appreciated the diverse group of inspiring individuals aged 32 to 62. The entire journey was well organized, yet flexible enough to accommodate alternative hikes and activities. Having never participated in group trips before, I found this one very easygoing—just booking the trip and flights while enjoying various highlights without needing to plan everything myself.
I had a great time on my trip to Madeira, despite the unusual weather and unexpected flight issues. The hikes were excellent (our guide was fantastic), and the organization on the island was top-notch. I didn’t have to worry about a thing, which was exactly what I wanted from this experience.
The trip was very well organized with professional guides. The trails were thoughtfully selected, combining various landscapes and balancing more challenging days with easier ones, resulting in hikes of medium difficulty on average.
I really enjoyed the beautiful hikes in Madeira. The company was fantastic, and our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful throughout the week. If I had to mention any improvements, it would be regarding the arrival at the apartments; it wasn’t clear where to safely store luggage until check-in, so we had to adapt a bit. Additionally, the door lock in the apartment could use some attention. However, these minor issues did not take away from what was an overall amazing experience!
