Never book with “FareShop”. It’s a scam. I found a cheap flight that didn’t include a carry-on, so I called FareShop to add one. They “upgraded” my ticket and charged me an extra $300, but they never made the change in the airline’s system. They kept the money and now I have to pay $200 each way just to bring a small carry-on bag. It’s completely ridiculous. Terrible service — total scammers who steal people’s money.
Very bad experience with Faresshope. The agency advertises one price, but when you try to confirm your booking, they suddenly change the price and ask for more money. This is dishonest and misleading. The customer service is terrible – unhelpful and unreliable. I do not recommend this agency at all. EVERYTHING WENT WRONG WHEN YOUR COMPANY ADVERTISE ONE PRICE AND COULD NOT SECURE FLY ,I DID PROVIDED ALL NECESSARY INFORMATION WITH A VALID CREDIT CARD AND COULD NOT COMPLETE TRANSACTION ,I SPOKE TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVE GOT TRANSFER TWICE AND TOLD MY FLY WAS "RESTRICTED"THAT I WAS ON STAND BY WITH NO LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE EVEN IF A PAY SUIT CASE THE YOUNG LADY TOLD ME FOR AN ADDITIONAL 500 DLLS I COULD SECURE AN UNRECTRICTED FLY ?? DEAL SEEKERS PLEASE DONOT BELIEVE THIS DECIVEN ADVERTISE PLEASE GO WITH AND REPUTABLE COMPANY
Total scam, bait and switch techniques. Advertise false prices and flight then they try to put you on a much more expensive non-direct flights, on a different days. They want to charge for standby tickets and do not want to reimburse when you do not get the tickets you booked. They are total scam
I saw several flights for low price. They gave 3 titles and 2 genders, so i tried to find out how I might book a ticket accurately with their absurdly limited options. No response from online "support." No response via whatsapp. So i called restricted and was told everything i was seeing was inaccurate. $200 range was actually cost of $500+. So all 3 bookings i was considering were just bait. I hung up and used other travel platform. Then fareshope called from the whatsapp messaging they ignored. I did not ask them to. They weren't listening AGAIN to simple details like dates they had just asked for. Yes, if i am returning on Wednesday, it is a round trip flight. I finally gave up and said: do not call and Do not buy/sell/trade this number.
DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY THEY SCAMMED ME big Time In 5 minutes I reserve my flight confirmation email I got was $300 more (went from 480 cad, It wasn’t in Canadian dollars anymore it was in US Dollars, The date of my flight and my flight was totally different and wasn’t handled with the same company. The guy I spoke with on the phone had a weird accent and the number was coming from the United States and he wasn’t letting me speak at all. I wouldn’t trust for one second Fareshop.
Fareshope is misleading and untrustworthy. I was trying to contact KLM and ended up speaking with them by mistake, thinking it was official customer support. They told me I had to pay 120 USD to get a refund. When they sent me the link I saw fareshope so I realized it was not the official customer service of KLM. I When I later spoke to KLM, they confirmed that Fareshope has no connection with them and my ticket was not refundable. This company pretends to act as the airline and tries to charge fake cancellation fees. Be very careful – do not trust them. It is a classic bait and switch.
