Having completed my level 2 and 3 qualifications in person with train fitness, I cannot recommend this experience more highly and I am so glad I chose the in person option. The online learning is well structured and clear but the in person sessions have brought the material to life and I am finishing feeling confident in the toolkit I have developed over the last two weeks. My tutor Ben is incredibly caring, reassuring and let's his personality shine in his teaching which helps make the two weeks straight of learning really fun and engaging. I have felt very well supported by Ben and Kate, it's so clear they are not only exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced but also really care. It has been such a fun two weeks learning with a lovely diverse group and I'm really going to miss the whole group. To anyone worried about the assessments let me reassure you that Ben and the team are so experienced and know exactly how to coach you through them. It's a supportive learning environment where we all help eachother grow. Thank you for a fantastic experience which has made me excited for the next step in this journey!
I have thoroughly enjoyed completing my L2 Gym Instructor qualification and working towards my L3 Personal Training qualification so far with TrainFitness. I was very nervous before starting the 2 week in-person clinic, but I really had nothing to worry about. The support and coaching given by the course leader, Ben, has been fantastic. He has created such an inclusive, welcoming and non-judgemental environment that has truly allowed everyone to be themselves and shine with the development of their own coaching styles. All the other participants on the course were also very friendly - the group was a mix of ages, life circumstances and previous physical activity experiences. It has been really helpful doing the in-person clinic in order to really understand the course content clearly and have great support with preparation for the practical assessments. Big thank you to Katie too for all her support with our assessments!
I absolutely LOVED my experience with train fitness. I completed the two week in person course and it’s the best decision I’ve made in a long time. The training is thorough, engaging, and confidence building. Ben is an incredible tutor and I’m so grateful for his teaching and support. If you’re choosing between any PT courses, choose this one!
I’ve had the time of my life with TrainFitness over the past few months. They’ve been incredibly supportive throughout my learning, and every member of staff I’ve interacted with—in person, over the phone, or by email—has been friendly, professional, and caring.For anyone looking to gain expert knowledge in a warm, encouraging environment where you’ll be pushed, challenged, and celebrated, this is the course for you. I now feel confident, technically skilled, and ready to start helping others. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.I’m currently completing my Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification and working toward my Level 3 Personal Trainer certification (T3 HIIT assessment completed). I’m doing my theory online and practical sessions in person, and it’s been an amazing experience. The teachers—Kate and Ben—are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, creating a safe and inspiring space for everyone.Every time I’ve had a question about the online theory, the support team has replied promptly and helpfully. For future courses, I probably won’t even bother looking anywhere else!
Currently finishing off my PT Strength and Conditioning Diploma. As a distance learner I have relied on the learner support team to guide me through the course material/assessments, who have been very responsive via telephone and email. Special mention to Mr Rob Barraclough who is very professional/knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease over the phone.
Attended the L2 + L3 course in London in October. Our main instructor/ assessor was Ben, with Katie covering the T3 group training class.I'm an older learner (a retired financial services professional looking for a second career in something I'm passionate about). I also don't have the physique of a stereotypical PT and was really worried about how I would fit in / be judged. The whole environment of the course could not have been more supportive. Ben made a real point of ensuring that all of us felt free to be ourselves, to recognise the unique value we could each bring as a coach and to find out our coaching style - whilst also guiding us to learn to adapt it to meet individual client needs. Katie took the same approach when teaching the group training session. We were also encouraged to learn from each other. Everyone in our group had very different training histories and passions and the different perspectives offered added knowledge beyond the course materials. It was a brilliantly supportive group with everyone willing each other on to perform at their best. With significant time on the gym floor practicing on one another we really got to put our skills into practice before the assessments. When I first looked at the course materials and saw the level of assessments it looked quite daunting - but the in-person coaches (and the excellent on-line materials) really guided us through the content and the assessments. Ive had a thoroughly enjoyable two weeks and am really feeling quite motivated about getting stuck in as a PT. I also feel l've made some great new friends in my new industry as all learners really supported each other through the process.
I am still on the level 3 in person online modules. When i was asked to go to Buzz gym Cannon street for my LAP, i was a bit nervous because i didn't know who my tutor was going to be. But the when i met Ben at the reception, he said to me "Anderson everything is going to be fine, will guide you in such a way that by the end of this LAP you would understand everything. The knowledge he impacted on me has help and i will apply the when i start my journey as a personal trainer. I would like to use this opportunity to thank Ben for guiding us all especially me throughout the LAP.
