Ordered my rig in early to mid-January. Two weeks pass and no word. Finally get a response telling me their website inventory isn't accurate, and my purchase is on back order.
I'm told it should be sent by the end of January, so I decide to wait. Fast forward... it's February 28th I'm told my order is still waiting to be released from customs to make it to their warehouse before being shipped to me.
So at bare minimum a product I have already paid for won't be received until nearly 2 months after original purchase. Nothing from TrakRacer other than offering a refund after I've already been waiting this long.
Went with their site because someone recommended it to me. I'm here to highly recommend against using this site.
After stock issues, I spent over 1 month working with Rose from Trak Racer support who was absolutely excellent in assisting me with all of my queries. I was able to receive updates constantly with Rose presenting fantastic customer service during busy periods. She responded to all of my enquires making sure to later follow up after I’d received my full order making sure that everything was delivered correctly and I was happy with my order. Although customer service was extremely difficult due to what I can assume is time zone differences (from uk) I was still assured that my order was progressing and given updates that put me at ease. A huge thanks to Rose for her support!
Received a pretty well optioned 160 kit that had damage. Took a while to get sorted out and there was a communication gap, but my amazing cs rep Chase got it sorted out and made everything right. Thank you!!
A little customer feedback: this is an amazing bit of engineering in these kits but the manuals really need to be sorted out/organized better somehow. It's a mess in its current state. Great product though!
The product is great and it really fits what I wanted. The customer service is very subpar and very slow to respond. Had to send over three emails over a week and a half before I got a response on an order issue. It was ultimately handled, but so slow.
I am a tradesman with many years and accomplishments. I assembled a Trak Racer kit and the hardware was inadequate and poorly selected to fit the application. I had to buy additional hardware to make the system work. The bolts were wrong. There were no washers provided for a portion of the build and the washers were not in the instructions, but the holes for the bolts are to large to have a nut that provided the correct contact for a reliable join, which requires a washer to correct, that is why washers exist. Other bolts were to short to install as the instructions described, requiring the removal of a part of the bolt assembly to make up the difference in length, specifically the lock washers. There are a few obvious design letdowns as well, where things would be better if a little more though were put into design.
I ordered a pro model along with a reclining seat. I received the rig, but the seat was mislabeled and initially not sent to me. However, thanks to the assistance of the support team, the seat was recently delivered. That was the only hiccup; apart from that, the build quality of everything is excellent! I will definitely be ordering more accessories from this seller!
The unit has been unusable for 3 months. The company is pushing for warranty support through the distributor. In my situation, it involves a third party. We've encountered an issue with the haptic bridge, and despite repeated follow-ups, the problem remains unresolved. They assert that the unit has been shipped but have not provided any tracking information. Overall, a very disappointing experience and lack of customer support.
I received a glove that had some loose threads, which resulted in a hole when I tried to wear it. I contacted the support team, and they promptly sent me a replacement pair. There was no hassle or blame, just a simple apology and assurance that a new one was on its way. I appreciate the smooth process, especially in times when good service is rare.
I'm writing this review in hopes that the items I received are functional. My feedback focuses on the customer service, which has been extremely poor! I mistakenly ordered two of one item and sent multiple emails asking for the necessary authorization form. I kept receiving the same automated response. Now, instead of returning the item, I will have to sell it on a marketplace. Caution to other buyers!
Transitioning from the previous model to the Fixed Gt seat along with the additional components like the seat rail and oversized bracket has been fantastic. I'm thrilled with the improvements in my racing performance; this kit is truly impressive.
