Our nanny was extremely nice, sweet, and flexible in adjusting her hours for the couple days we were in Tokyo which we really appreciated!! She even helped pickup dinner one night! Unfortunately our kid just didn't warm up to her as well as she did with our Taipei nanny so every night she was a little reluctant when we would go out 🫤. The only minor critique I have is there were 2 nights where the nanny let her go to sleep early but in her day clothes (instead of following the bedtime routine). Luckily the second night she ended up waking back up later, but letting her sleep early also led to a late bedtime (and we had already been in Asia 2 weeks so it wasn't due to jetlag).
The process to book the nanny took a little while to find a nanny with the right availability, but the communication throughout the services was excellent and they even covered some extra costs free of charge!
Looking after Shalin’s daughter was such a wonderful experience. She and her husband did treat me well by following the instructions and rules set by the agency. Working with them was great at the same time because they were calm and clear with what their expectations from me as their child’s nanny. Their daughter was smart and adorable too so it was a time well spent with her.
During her mother’s work stay in Japan, I had the pleasure of looking after her lovely little daughter.Thanks to the pre-interview, I already knew her interests and personality, so we quickly bonded and had a wonderful time together.

From there, we went with Nanny Maddie from reading her personalized resume. She had over 16 years of children experience. Maddie was beyond wonderful with our 2, 5, and 7 year old. She played and was attentive to all three kids. We were around for an hour prior to leaving. They absolutely adored her and all a great time during our quick few hours away. They played with toys, hide and seek, and Maddie even played on the switch with our 7 year old. Every kid had the right amount of attention and everyone was a happy camper. We would recommend the travel nanny to anyone parents who need some time off. Thank you to the entire nanny crew as we are very thankful for your professionalism, care and service.
It’s our first time hiring a nanny in a different country. So glad I found Travel Nanny! It was easy to navigate communicating with the company using WhatsApp. The team of nannies is vetted out by the owner herself. The nanny we hired in Osaka was a hit with our kids.
