Concerns Regarding Management Practices

Dear Management, why do you not adhere to your own policies and procedures? Why do you fail to uphold tenancy agreements? Why is there no response when tenants report anti-social behavior? Why do you ignore complaints about excessive noise disturbances? It feels like tenants are continuously overlooked when they seek help and support. Communication seems lacking as letters sent are ignored. Why are repairs not carried out despite rent increases? Your lack of timely and clear communication is alarming. It makes me question how much longer this organization can operate effectively. I have reached out to the relevant regulatory body to express the neglect I have experienced. This has had a detrimental impact on people's lives. I advise others to think carefully before renting from you.

Concerns Regarding Policy Adherence

Dear Management, Why is there a lack of adherence to established policies and procedures? Why are tenancy agreements not respected? Why is there no response or action when tenants report anti-social behavior? Why is excessive noise disturbance overlooked? Why are tenants continuously ignored when they plead for assistance? Why are letters sent and acknowledged disregarded? Why are repairs not carried out even after rent increases? Why is there no support for those clearly struggling? Why is it so difficult to provide timely and clear accounts? How is it possible to continue operating without proper knowledge and competency? I question how much longer this organization can endure..... I have recently taken legal action and informed the relevant housing regulator about the negligence experienced and the impact it has had. The consequences of ruining lives are significant. What goes around comes around! Consider this a warning. Avoid renting from this organization, as you may find yourself in a similar situation, feeling miserable and depressed.

Disappointment with Housing Association

This housing association has been extremely disappointing. I have reported issues with anti-social behavior from my neighbors for over three years, yet there has been no resolution. They have repeatedly failed to adhere to their own policies and have not taken my complaints seriously or conducted proper investigations into the offenders. An action plan was proposed but never implemented, leaving me to endure constant and unreasonable noise from my neighbors every day. Despite my requests to communicate via email, they often opt for unannounced phone calls instead. I prefer everything in writing to hold them accountable for their commitments, which they have not fulfilled. I am currently waiting for a response from the relevant ombudsman regarding my complaints about the anti-social behavior. I hope the ombudsman acknowledges the failures of this housing association and that a satisfactory resolution is reached. Tenants deserve much better treatment.

Experience with Housing Association Since 2017

In 2017, I assisted an elderly relative in moving into a sheltered flat with a garden. We invested significantly in landscaping, but unfortunately, dealing with various representatives has been frustrating. Over the past eight years, I have experienced consistent issues with repairs, affecting my health. Having relocated multiple times since 1973, I have only had one repair addressed. The support I received was inadequate, and the housing officer has changed multiple times without any progress. The state of the property remains poor, with visible maintenance issues. I submitted transfer requests but have not seen any action taken. It appears that the organization is not addressing the necessary improvements for vulnerable residents, and I hope for a thorough investigation into these matters.

The housing association has not addressed ongoing repair issues for eight years, leading to health problems. Despite having a disability badge, the support has been unreliable. The housing officer has changed multiple times, and essential maintenance remains unaddressed. Transfer requests submitted in 2018 and 2019 have gone unnoticed, and my requests for a more suitable location have not been acted upon.
