It has an amazing potential, but just lacks quality at some important points. Service is just, none

It has an amazing potential, but just lacks quality at some important points. Service is just, none existing.
1. We had trouble checking in, the information level regarding this was a joke, took like 45 minutes but succeded in the end. Why? We don't know.
2. Our bracelets could not open our door (luckily the key could), annoying but not that big of a hassle. We went to the reception to fix it - service level was again very bad - ended with "we hope"... Did not work, and we gave up about that.
3. Dirty glass in the room, to few glasses/cups/towels.
4. Towel heater did not work. Called the "Please call us in you need anything at all number". "We will send someone" they said, never showed up. We called again the day after, but the phone just ended on voicemail. Send an e-mail, never received and answer - thats a week ago now.
5. Food, goods, services, games, you name it everything is just overpriced beyond whats reasonable. 5 euro for 0.5L of coke? Joke. I'll just grab some water then, is there some water fountains in one of Europes best countries regarding tap water? Nope, cause they want you to buy.... Coke, monster, beers, at overprice.
6. Food just wasnt... Worth the price. Cafeteria level, restaurant prices. Is there an alternative? Not really, and I know thats why the prices are unfair - but why not make them more fair, and get people to buy more?
7. The smell... Jesus christ on a motorbike. It stinks in the arcade area, like puke smell beyond compare. And we had to go through it every day to come to the Ohana where we lived.
8. Again, the service... Went to the Ohana bar/restaurant to book some bowling at like 10.15 in the morning. All the signs/commercial boards said "Happy hour from 10 to X", but no one was there, they were all busy with the breakfast buffet. Thats fair in some way, but then dont start happy our at that time. A women in front of us wanted to buy something because of the happy hour, but they declined her service, what on earth kind of service is that.
9. It's cooooold, if the sun is not outside heating the dome. We had one day with the sun, but the rest of the days was cloudy and very cold. Our children didn't want to swim in after a few hours each day as they were freezing. It kind of ruins the whole concept (It's called Tropical Islands, right?), and i'm pretty sure they are lying with their temperatures as well.
10. The lifeguards are plenty, but negative as hell. They are not there to make people have fun, thats for sure. Constantly blowing their whistles like they are getting attacked in a dark alley in the poor part of Chicago. Moaning about people sitting on each others shoulders... In the water...

To be honest, I could go on. We were there for 5 days, and im pretty sure se are never going back. It's just way to pricey. Its not to pricey if the above was fixed, then I could accept it. But they charge a price way above what matches their service, and it's regarding everything. It's not a good way of doing business, in my opinion.

Divided experience: accommodations vs. amenities

I need to break this down into two parts. 1. Accommodations: The room was quite outdated. There was a cockroach in the room, and it was not cleaned properly; I found candy from a previous guest under the bed. It was so disappointing that we decided to leave a day early due to the room conditions. 2. Amenities: I really enjoyed the water slides and the rainforest area; there were plenty of activities for kids to enjoy. However, the poor room experience overshadowed everything else.

Unpleasant stay due to room issues

I need to separate this into two parts. 1. Room experience: The accommodation was very old and unclean. We found a cockroach and candy from previous guests under the bed. It was so unsatisfactory that we left a day early. 2. The amenities: I love the water slides and the rainforest area, and there are many activities for kids. However, the terrible room experience overshadowed the positives.

Significant service shortcomings

This review outlines several operational and service issues faced during our recent visit. While the pool facilities were enjoyable, the overall experience, from booking to on-site services, was quite disappointing. Key concerns include: 1. Booking and pet policy inconsistencies; the online system lacked pet options, leading to complications. 2. The dining program had a repetitive menu with little variety, failing to meet expectations for an all-inclusive package. 3. All-inclusive wristbands malfunctioned, causing access issues. 4. Parking was inconvenient and costly, with a no re-entry policy. 5. The accommodations were cramped and not well-designed for four guests. In conclusion, despite enjoying the pool amenities, the series of negative experiences will deter us from returning.

Enjoyable day visit with family

We visited for a day with three kids aged 16, 10, and 3, coming from Denmark. This was our second visit. I noticed many complaints seem to come from those staying overnight. We stayed in Berlin and drove down. Booking through a site provided a discount. Parking was ample, and getting our wristbands was easy. Staff spoke English, and the changing area was spacious. Despite many visitors, the toilets remained clean. The food court had amenities for heating kids' food. There were play areas for all ages, and the lagoon was a favorite for our kids. While there was some sand, it was a water park, and cleanliness was satisfactory. We will definitely return and recommend it.

Mixed experience: fine but room for improvement

The booking experience was adequate, but information during check-in could be enhanced to reduce queries for busy staff. The front desk was understaffed. We stayed in a house outside the dome that wasn't properly cleaned. That said, the bathing area, restaurants, and changing facilities were good and met expectations. The house was of decent quality and comfortable.

Great potential hindered by maintenance issues

We spent two days at the park, excited about the whitewater channel, but it was in disrepair, causing injuries. After a couple of rides, both kids and adults were sore. Some changing cabins were broken, and the kids' slide had uneven joints, making it uncomfortable. We hope the promised water playground opens soon. The outdoor surfing attraction is seasonal and incurs extra fees, which is disappointing. Repairs for the whitewater channel will take place after our visit, which is unfortunate.

Extremely disappointing overnight stay

Our experience was terrible! We had visited previously for day trips and enjoyed it, but an overnight stay was a mistake. The access to the hotel was inconvenient, and the room had many issues, including a malfunctioning fridge and no storage. After a day at the park, we had to deal with a complicated checkout process that was frustrating. The lack of staff at key points made it even worse. We had to wait outside in the cold while sorting our departure, which was unacceptable.

Good idea, poor execution

It looks appealing on paper, but the reality is quite different. Customer service was lacking, and food quality was disappointing. The whole experience felt disorganized.

If possible, I'd rate it zero

I would give it a zero if I could. The website was malfunctioning, making it hard to add bookings. We faced long queues, with only one staff member at reception. The lack of nearby taxis was frustrating, and the food was overpriced and poorly prepared. The overall experience was chaotic, with dirty facilities and excessive waits for services.
