Absolutely worth it. I've been using it as my main transportation for almost a year. I have the R002 and faced a few issues, but the company addressed them all promptly and courteously. I usually cruise at 25–35 mph depending on conditions, and it serves my needs well; the single motor is perfectly adequate.
As a mom, my child's safety is my top priority, which was crucial when choosing an e-bike. Opting for this e-bike has been a decision I’ve never regretted. My child enjoys riding with me, and the service provided is simply outstanding. I couldn't be happier with our choice.
Bought my TST R002+ on October 18th, it was delivered in less than a week. Installation was straight forward, had to install the back tire, handle bars and connect 1 wire. The combo of their Install video and instruction manual was sufficient. Right out of the box I unlocked to class 3 on the app providing a max speed of 28mph. Without charging the battery i was able to get 20miles out of full throttle and not pedaling once. Distance per charge greatly increases when using pedal assist and not just full throttle the entire time, but let's be honest full throttle and not pedaling is more fun. Customer service has been great for me, from emailing their team asking for specs for any customizations I want to do to the bike, to their Facebook group, specifically Jules and all her help. Im able to get an answer typically within a few hours. I primarily ride mine offroad, one thing id suggest if you're going to do that, is filling your tire to 16-18PSI so you dont get a pinch flat from over inflation and a rougher ride. Becuase of that I had to replace my back tire tube but it was 100% my fault. Tube replacement was straight forward, ive never changed a bike tire before this but after a generic youtube video I felt like a master bike mechanic. The back bolts were pretty tough to get off, which I appreciate for saftey. Another recommendation for anyone who buys one after reading this, is every few rides just tighten everything down, especially if youre going to use it roughly.Overall im a huge fan of this bike, ive recommended it to several people already, and after a few rides, im ordering one for my wife since she wants to steal mine. Its fun to ride, it looks cool, the battery capacity is great, and customer service hasn't let me down.
I needed my controller replaced due to an E8 error code. I emailed support and they provided instructions to trouble shoot but that didn’t help and they sent a replacement controller right away. On a second occasion, the locking hinge on the button panel broke possibly because of over tightening, but what ever the case, I emailed support and I had a fedex tracking number that same night. I really appreciate the level of customer service that you have provided.
