Review Time
I’ve been using tumblr for years without any problems and even downloaded their app. I have noticed that in recent years they have got more and more censored and blogs that I had been following for a long time were being deleted and other blogs that I came across said that this was their 6th blog etc because tumblr kept on deleting them! Then about a week ago when I tried to get into my app it wouldn’t let me in and I even tried signing in again with my password but didn’t get anywhere! As far as I’m concerned I never posted anything that I shouldn’t and in fact I only ever reposted other people’s blogs that I liked which I assumed was ok because surely if their content wasn’t then tumblr would have surely removed it? I’ve sent several messages to tumble support asking why I can’t access my account and I assume that it’s because their moral police didn’t like something that they saw but surely someone that’s had an account with them for years should be warned what it was that they didn’t like rather than just deleting their account? I have sent their support several messages but I haven’t received 1 single reply. I know that I could log back on using a different email address but I had made friends on there that I will never find again and so I’ve decided that they are not worthy of my account and so I’ve deleted their app now and decided that I’m not going to spend another minute trying to gain access again and I will easily just join a much more liberal site. It’s no wonder when you read the article online that tells you how many users tumblr had years ago and how much it was worth as a company compared to what it’s worth now and how many members it’s got now. You would have thought that someone who had been a loyal user for years would at least get some sort of warning to advise them what they had done wrong on the 1st occasion rather than just having their account deleted and blocked? Anyway I will give my time to another more liberal site that hasn’t got a Willy nilly approach of just deleting peoples accounts. It’s very interesting when you read the article online that explains how tumblr has failed based on how many people who used to have accounts with them years ago compared to now and how much the company used to be worth compared to now and I’m sure by carrying on like this it will be losing more and more users every day and that’s probably why nobody from their support team gets back to you because obviously as the company has lost a huge amount of value they have also had to drastically cut down on the amount of staff that they hire too. Goodbye and good riddance tumblr and may many more users follow suit!
A great filtering site when it comes to anything you don’t like or are just uninterested in, there are allegedly no limits to it while other sites have said limits. The filters are specific, you either block the tags, the content itself or even users. Most other art and posting blog sites aren’t that good with filters or somehow shit gets past those filters. Unfortunately a portion of the internet these days can get uptight, I’ve seen harmless jokes and opinions regarding fiction setting off SJWs, overly sensitive people and extremists. If you’re an artist, it’s usually a great safe space if you hang out with non-extremists. But digital art sketches/lineart gets more traction than traditional art sketches by a lot. These days it’s more fitting for fandom content, not real life unless you pay attention to the news relevant in your country, state and county. However, bots are still going rampant even with many reports & complaints! Also watch out if your post/reblog gets wrongfully flagged as mature/nsfw! Waiting for repeals will take a very long time!Innocent content gets incorrectly flagged yet actual nsfw images don’t is freaking insane!

All I am trying to do is reset my password. I have gotten a new phone number so I cannot do it with 2FA tied to the old number. THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. Not only have they not responded in over a week over SEVERAL emails. The emails they have replied to keep asking for the SAME INFORMATION I HAVE VERIFIED 3 TIMES ALREADY. This leaves me thinking, "am I being phished? what happened to the info I have already provided twice before? Do they not care?" I have been trying to get to my personal journal and blog. STAY AWAY. They are unresponsive and will misplace your data or just ignore you. I wish I could just remove everything I have on their platform and use something else. 10 F'ing years.... for this?

I have just spent the last 10 agonising months in my life because tumblr sent to the police saying I was downloading child porn I'm glad to say I have been cleared of any charges, this has cost me my marriage, my children and grand children I say to you all stay away from them, I now have to try to rebuild my life
