Extremely Disappointing Experience

This bank is incredibly frustrating. I recently opened an account at a local branch, and there is always a long queue extending outside in the blazing sun. Some of the staff seem lost and quite unprofessional. I can't believe that in 2025, this outdated bank operates slower than a snail. Time is valuable, yet this bank shows no respect for their customers' time, acting as if they are doing us a favor. It's disheartening. Unfortunately, I've locked my funds in this account during the setup. Getting a bank card is taking an eternity, while their competitors can produce the same card in under two minutes. This is now my third day trying to get assistance. It's truly disappointing.

This bank is a complete disaster!

This bank is a complete disaster. I opened an account recently at a branch in the area. There are always long queues stretching outside in the blistering heat. Some staff seem clueless and very unprofessional. I can't believe that in 2025, this outdated bank operates slower than a snail. Time is money, and this bank shows no consideration for its customers' time. They act as if they are doing us a favor. It's truly pathetic. Unfortunately, I have my money tied up in this account since opening. Just to get a bank card is taking an eternity. Competitors can issue the same card in under two minutes. This is my third attempt waiting to be served. It's a huge shame.

Extremely poor service, and I will never bank with this institution again. The customer service is simply rude, attending to those who can pay them money while wasting the time of others on purpose.

Stuck on a simple issue for too long...

Stuck on a simple issue of updating my phone number for an entire week. The problem is still unresolved as of today. I can't believe this is happening in this digital age. No respect for customers. They don't care if the money locked in the account is needed for an emergency.

A bank that exploits customers

A terrible bank. They disregard conversion rates, seemingly making it a secondary source of income. I cannot recommend this bank to anyone. While the conversion rate is 573 XOF for 1 USD, they apply 535 XOF for 1 USD. They take advantage of people's money.

Incompetence in data and security

Two platforms refunded my subscriptions and confirmed it via email, showing the source of the funds and where they were supposed to go. Yet, this bank refuses to refund. Strangely, they ask for my phone number and account details again, despite having them already. What is going on in this bank?

A frustrating experience!

A frustrating experience! Opening an account was the easy part, but accessing my own funds is a nightmare. The bank has me running in circles, with endless requests that lead nowhere. There’s no room for dialogue; you’re just expected to comply with whatever they throw at you. This entire ordeal is orchestrated by the customer service center, and it is evident they aim to make things difficult. I had to escalate the issue to authorities to get my money back after five long months. This reflects the lack of accountability in the system. If this is what home is like, I’d rather stay away.

Abuse of power by the customer service team

The customer service team is abusing their power. I only managed to retrieve my funds after escalating the issue to the central bank, as there is significant misconduct within this institution. The only way to get them to act is to report to the authorities. Otherwise, they will keep you running in circles with no resolution. If you face issues with your bank, file a formal complaint first, as it serves as evidence when escalating to the central bank. Document all communications for future reference.

This bank is a nightmare!

This bank is a nightmare! My funds are blocked without explanation, and my appeals are ignored. I requested a loan and waited two months without any response, despite providing all necessary details. I sought an attestation of no indebtedness and was made to visit the bank for three weeks, only to be kept until closing hours without receiving it. This feels like a scam.

Terrible customer service experience

I visited a branch near a major refinery, and the customer service representatives working that day need retraining. I wanted an instant debit card and spent over an hour watching them move around aimlessly while customers waited. Their attitude was terrible, and I even saw sensitive customer information left exposed. If I were a mystery shopper, their performance would be appalling.
