UC Health is absolutely the WORST!! I work for a school district in Colorado Springs and we have the unfortunate mandate that UC Health is our medical provider. I frequent many different schools within the district, and as a result, am exposed to many different germs. I, (in the past), have contracted sinus infections, so I know what the symptoms are. Fast forward: I am on Spring Break as of today and am supposed to travel for the Break next week. I have the extreme symptoms of a sinus infection and tried to get an appointment with my primary Doc, and he was not available. I made an appointment with a tele-doc, (her name is Jennifer Carrol, PA). During the appointment, she made the determination that my symptoms are not sufficient enough to warrant a course of antibiotics, even though my past records show that this is the correct course of action. I asked to speak with her supervisor and Jennifer Carrol gave me a fictious name of a fictious supervisor!!! I am absolutely DISGUSTED with UC Health! I even told the PA, (Jennifer Carrol), that I was absolutely disappointed that I had to pay a co-pay, and SHE was going to get paid, for a complete waste of time and money. Her response: Hope you have a good day!
REALLY!!!!

DONT VISIT!!!! WARNING

Worst experience in my life! I went for their face and body services and it was just horrible and expensive. As soon as you ask some questions about their work they become defensive and answer with a bad attitude. The work was also terrible. 0/10

UCHealth is limiting access to services in order to boost profits

I have been a patient of UCHealth for several years. In that time, it has become increasingly difficult to receive services within a reasonable time frame. Want to see your doctor? Wait for six to eight weeks. Need imaging? Be prepared to wait a week or two for the results. Need to see a specialist? Wait for over two months.UCHealth is increasing profits by limiting access to services. For a non-profit, that is borderline criminal. Your health is far from their highest priority.

I have never been diagnworsosed with COPD…

I have never been diagnosed with COPD until this hospital they said I had it when I had pneumonia.i don't have COPD and when I was in the er waiting for a room they dropped me up and when I got to my room there was three people in my room and going threw my purse there were things missing out of my purse.money and several other items.i don't know what kind of place this is but in My opinion they need to be shut down. I would never go there again.i wouldn't even send my dog there.also other places can't even find my records of me ever being treated there how do you lose records on someone.i should file a law suite.and make them find my records. And sue them for a lot of money for mentally physically and emotionally abuse.

Still No Results After 5 Weeks

I had a manometry done at this facility, and as of yesterday it has been five weeks with no results. I’ve never waited this long for any medical procedure in my life. Not being able to swallow food or liquids has been an ongoing struggle, and the delay has made things even more difficult. I really need the results so I can move forward with scheduling the surgery that will help my condition. This level of delay and lack of communication has been extremely frustrating and concerning.

UC Health's TRD/Spravato Psych Dept

This is regarding UC Health's TRD (Treatment Resistant Depression/Spravato/Ketamine) Psychiatry Department: UC Health's TRD department just informed me they have a "5-7 month" waiting period with "70 patients" ahead of me. I wanted to voice my opinion that this definitely does not meet the critical needs of TRD patients w suicidal ideations needing immediate intervention. In fact it falls extremely -and shamefully- short of that expectation. I ***STRONGLY*** recommend patients go to my Spravato clinic "New Pathways" in Montgomery. They are EXTREMELY efficient, expedient, compassionate, & professional. It is a FANTASTIC spravato clinic! I was able to get an initial appt within 7-10 days & was able to start my Spravato TX within another 7-10 days. (Yes they take insurance.) I cannot say enough good things about the "New Pathways" clinic. To make acutely-ill TRD pts w suicidal ideations wait 5-7 months is inexcusably abhorrent. I've had 67 life-changing & life-saving Spravato TXs over 2 years. And I can say w certainty that some of those 70 suicidal TRD waiting-list patients may die waiting 5-7 months at UC Health. I STRONGLY recommend New Pathways over UC Health for this particular TRD condition & treatment. Fortunately my TRD is well-managed at this time so I have chosen to stop my spravato TXs for now. But I take great comfort in knowing that should my TRD flare/exacerbate in the future, I know I could immediately get back in at New Pathways & quickly resume my spravato TXs within 10 days. I just wanted to share my opinion on this critically important matter.

Over billing issues

My wife went to the urgent care to get a simple X-ray after a fall. They told her they had a staffing issue and she’d have to go to the main hospital building to get it done. Once there they wouldn’t see her unless she electronically signed something but they refused to show her what she was supposedly signing. Literally handed her a signature pad with no screen and no ability to read anything. After getting an x-ray and being there less than an hour they sent a bill for over $5,000!!!! For an x-ray only! And all because they were improperly staffed at the urgent clinic. Now we’re likely to have to get a lawyer to deal with this outrageous situation.

If I could give ZERO ratings I would

If I could give ZERO ratings I would. This is by far the WORST network of physicians, I've dealt with. The NORTHFIELD location has the worst network of doctors and the WORST customer Service EVER!! Do not go to the NORTHFIELD location if you are looking for doctor that is professional, has good etiquette and good communication skills, this office is NOT for you. I've seen both, Leslie Ann Thomas and Ryan Patrick Meintz and didn't feel a connection with either of them. Very un responsive to medication refills and didn't seem to connect well in general. I've missed two appointments because I feel that uncomfortable. They won't let you switch doctor's without one of their approvals. Which is insane. You have to go outside of the network all together, which is what I'm looking to do. Not sure if they treat all patients like this but my experience has been problematic from the start. My insurance changed a year ago and switching doctor's is the worst especially when they are just in it for the pay check
