A new direction

I first took a course in hypnotherapy some 20 years ago and loved it so much that I promised myself I'd return to it 'one day'. Semi-retirement opened up that opportunity. I chose the UK College of Hypnotherapy, as they offered the integration of hypnosis with CBT. The trainers were all excellent presenters: highly experienced and knowledgeable in CBH, as well as approachable. I found myself not only enjoying the content of the course simply for the learning experience but began to imagine taking the learning into a new life-venture. I found that the course practical experiences and taught material, being evidence-based, gave me the confidence to offer myself as a bono-fide therapist. Again, in this, the College support has been exemplary...from the supervision provided throughout the case studies, additional practice sessions and support with the assessments, along with advice on setting up in practice. There's always something going on with the College to nurture its students and build expertise. I can't fault my experience.

Wonderfully warm and supportive

I have found the college to be a wonderfully warm and supportive organisation: they have been enormously understanding of my own challenges and very generous in helping me to address them. A truly fantastic example of the values that we all hope drive a therapeutic training organisation, but these days I have found all too rare. The people I dealt with were a shining example of that warm and human culture.

The Real Deal!

Having come from a background in Performing Arts and then Secondary teaching, I was completely out of my depth when I made the decision to train as a therapist. I spent months researching all the different courses and even met with a course leader on another hypnotherapy course. I am so glad that I took THIS course! It is evidenced based, professionally delivered and assessed. Being respectful, it has made me look at all the other courses I researched and actually question the validity of them. This is something I feel more than confident to do with the clinical research and psycho-education I have gained. I started with an interest in Hypnotherapy but found a course/qualification and approach that encapsulates up to date research and effective contemporary approaches to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, the most successful and evidenced based psychotherapy to date. I do not see myself just as a 'Hypnotherapist' but as a 'Psychotherapist', with the skills to offer a range of techniques and approaches to clients.

Great Course!

Working in the field of behavior management, for 10+ years, I am always on the lookout for effective, impactful treatment strategies. The course, CBH, helped me to weave hypnosis into my therapy sessions seamlessly. I could actually see the impactful change the practice of these approaches was creating in my clients. Joining this course has been one of my best decisions towards my career development. I appreciate and am grateful to all the instructors and especially my coach, with whom I had extensive discussions as I progressed with the course.

Excellent Course !!

I started the CBH course in June 2021 and completed in March 2022. The course content for the live online classes was comprehensive. I got to learn from a range of teachers and appreciated the diversity of the delivery. Despite studying online, I felt supported by the college and I received feedback for all the queries I had. There were plenty of practice opportunities during the live calls and I could sign up for more if I needed. My work with my supervisor was really helpful and helped me to develop my practical skills. It was nice to have that one to one contact. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.

Stress management and resilience training course

I recently did the stress management and resilience building online course with the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. The course focused on techniques that could be used without using hypnosis and hypnotherapy and you didn’t need to understand hypnosis to get the most from the course. It was well organised and well structured. It provided lots of useful training and resources for working individually with clients and for designed and delivering workshops for groups. There was a good mix of theory and practical exercises and plenty of chance to practice practical skills and to get feedback. Highly recommended.

My experience of Hypno-CBT fast track…

My experience of Hypno-CBT fast track training with Mindease.I completed the online fast track diploma between Nov 2021/Jan 2022.The course blends hypnotherapy, CBT, and mindfulness. We had 6 different tutors throughout the course. Each tutor expertly shared their knowledge and unique perspectives, and this enhanced my experience considerably. The course is intense as the content comes thick and fast, (as the title of the course suggests), after the first 3-4 days I was a little overwhelmed, but by the end of the first week all the different elements came together, and this continued throughout the remainder of the course. There are a huge number of student practical sessions, so from day one you start to apply the things you learn. Plus, you soon get to know all the other students. Regardless of your level of experience you will learn many valuable skills. There were several experienced psychologists in my cohort, and they commented that the course had added real value to their thinking. The college has also invested in an online portal that has a huge amount of additional information and insight for further development. I invested a significant amount of money in this course, and frankly it was worth every penny. It’s not an overstatement to say that the skills I’ve learnt will live with me for the rest of my life. They helped my personal development, and it provided a solid foundation for my future career. If like me you have a passion for psychology and learning about the human condition this course is definitely worth considering. If you want to help other people overcome their challenges and problems this course is a must attend.

Quality course, quality teaching

I have just completed Stage 3 of the CB Hypnotherapy Diploma. I can honestly say that I have loved every minute of it. The communication with the college is fantastic as are the materials that are provided by the college prior to starting each stage. There is also an excellent website containing all the materials and hypnosis scripts, in addition to a really useful professional hub, whare all participants can share ideas and advice (invaluable). The best thing about the college though is the standard of the teaching. Each tutor goes the extra mile to explain the content and do so with such passion and enthusiasm, you feel really lucky to be part of it. I am currently studying for a PhD and the teaching and student support on this course is equal to that, as is the empirical and contemporary content. I can't wait to qualify and start being paid and helping people with the skills and knowledge I have acquired. Thank you so much.

Looking for great quality hypnotherapy training? Look no further!

As a psychologist it was important to me that this course was recognised by the BPS which is no mean feat and having attended I can see why! It not only combines lots and lots of practice but also has a strong scientific and evidence base to it. It covers so much more than just hypnotism so that by the end you are provided with a whole range of approaches. What I love about the college is that they are continually innovating and introducing new workshops. I also loved that ALL the trainers have their own practices in hypnotherapy and therefore are able to bring in expertise acquired through their extensive client contact. Brilliant! My advice - do it!
