The UK Vein Clinic instilled in me the confidence to get on with sorting out my varicose veins. I cannot stress how thorough, professional and kind all the teams I have interacted with have been.I am now three weeks post procedure and my legs are progressing as expected. I had my initial treatment in December, followed by a second session last week. The entire process was very smooth from start to finish. I’m so happy with the service I received from UK Vein Clinic. I noticed a lot of the reviews were posted pretty soon after the initial treatment so decided to wait until my follow up appointment a couple of months later. My treatment was in early December for varicose veins on both calf muscles and I’m delighted to say the initial treatment was pain free with the only slight discomfort coming when the saline was administered but that soon passed. After a couple of days the compression stockings were removed and the veins looked as though they had disappeared completely. However, over the next few weeks I did get worried because the vein on the right calf did reappear and felt lumpy under the skin. I need not have worried as I’ve just got back from my follow up appointment at the end of January and it was completely normal. The scan showed the veins in both legs had closed and what was left was fibrous tissue that would get absorbed by the body in the coming weeks. I’ve been discharged now but the Dr did say they were always on call should I have any further concerns. I would highly recommend UK Vein Clinic and they are so friendly and put you completely at ease all the way through the process.
