I had a very poor experience with UnitedMasters after releasing a properly licensed remix.
Despite submitting valid licensing and ownership documentation, my release was taken down with little explanation and no meaningful review of the materials provided. As a result, royalties generated by the release were disrupted and withheld, with no clear accounting or timeline for resolution.
What’s most concerning is that UnitedMasters promotes transparency and artist-first practices, yet when a dispute arises, there is no clear process for protecting artist earnings. Support responses were vague and unhelpful, and I received no clear explanation regarding how royalties were handled during or after the takedown.
This led to lost revenue, lost momentum, and unnecessary stress, all while I had complied with licensing requirements. If you are an independent artist relying on accurate royalty reporting and fair dispute handling, this platform is risky.
Based on my experience, I do not trust UnitedMasters to properly safeguard artist rights or royalties and would not recommend them to serious artists.
They have by FAR the best musician support available! They manually put ‘main artist co-releases’ on both artist’s pages after reviewing proof of co-release, a seamless process which they do so well because of their same day or ‘next day’ responses to customer service. My previous distributor Distrokid had a bunch of hidden fees and became extremely expensive and also had NO customer service, so I was looking for a switch over and United Masters are the one! ❤️
I love United Masters. I’ve been using it for the last two years. I started off using a free version, and I saw how my views went up. I gained a little bit of money a little bit of fame it really helped me grow my career. I’m not where I wanna be but I’m much further and I grew so much with the help of United Masters and I really thank them and appreciate them for actually helping me become an independent artist. The technical service when some goes wrong behind the scenes is tremendous.

They never accepted to give my money and they owe me money for that honestly I can’t trust this company because they take quite long to accept the id to get paid.And they added a delay to get paid which made things more difficult so do not try this service! Support tends to respond late at certain time's, they never pay you the money do not try this service save yourself and your money
Absolutely zero reasons so join UnitedMasters. They promise you all these perks, but none of them matter. They're rust distributing your music and that's it. No help and no refund after the first 30 days. Nice one, UnitedMasters. Worst distributor on the internet.
