worst experience!my parcel is being held at warehouse for the past 7 days. I have phoned and emailed offering support and inquiring and so far no one was able to tell me anything besides: we are working on it.The parcel contains my own personal goods, I have stated this and I was not told the reason why it is being held.
I got a text 09:15 today saying I would get delivery before 16:00. I live in a house with no doorbell and because i'm a light sleeper I woke up at 11:00 when someone knocked and it was the delivery guy. Then it dawned on me, he had been at my house for the 3rd time and not once had he knocked on my door. He did not call me on my cellphone this time either. How do they train these drivers?
UPS failed to deliver a carpet to me despite many phone calls and emails. The customer service was emphatic but there didn't seem to be any direct communication between the customer service and the driver. The customer service kept writing in the system that the driver must take the carpet to my house and leave it there. The driver did not visit my house or call me when he claimed he did visit. I was at home waiting for the delivery when I got an sms saying I was unavailable, for which reason he did not deliver the carpet but took it to an access point instead. I did exactly as UPS told me to do but I never received the carpet. I had for six weeks a note on my door saying the driver can leave the carpet there in case I am not at home. After six weeks waiting, I fetched it myself at own cost. I will never again order anything delivered by UPS.
