Cons: The silicone face mask is quite heavy and hard to keep in place. When used while sitting, it keeps sliding down. When lying down, it presses on the nose, so I have to use a finger to lift the part that covers the nose a bit, otherwise it feels stuffy and leaves a noticeable mark on the nose. The Velcro strap used for securing the mask keeps shedding tiny black plastic bits, which have to be cleaned repeatedly.Pros: You just need to lie down and close your eyes. Compared to other tools, it’s relatively hassle-free and requires less effort.
Terrific service and to notch products. Did all my research on LED masks including reviews of output at different light levels, softness of masks, wearability, and more. Hands down, with your veritas readings and level ofquality and transparency I became a Currentbody customer. It really like the mask and feel confident it will be a worthy investment. My next purchase will be the neck and chest mask.
Heard multiple good reviews from others about the company and their products so I purchased the red light therapy mask. So far, it has helped reduce the appreance of my hormonal acne. I will have to wait and see if it prevents it after a month of use. I like the full face strap option however even with the Velcro adjusted as small as it will go it still isn’t a snug fit which was allowing the light to get in my eyes. Something small like that can be fixed by wearing a headband or hat to make your head wider but I think with how expensive the product is there should be strap sizing options available.
I bought the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Face Mask Series 2 mainly to treat rosacea since the IPL treatment in the US is so expensive ($300/treatment). I use it on a 2+1 base routine (use for 2 days and take a break for 1 day, so I can get 5 treatments every week as the maximum treatments suggested by the user’s manual). I have used it for 8 treatments by now, and I finally started to notice reduced redness for my rosacea (people online say that it usually takes up to 5 weeks to notice improvement with this device for rosacea, so I have been patient). I used it for 10 min each treatment for the first week and increased it to 20 min since the second week, and I believe it was the elongated treatment brought this noticeable improvement for my rosacea. I have to point it out though that I started to notice smoother skin since the first use. For both reasons, I will continue using this device and recommend it to other people with the same concerns as mine.
The smell is quite strong and unpleasant. The straps are uncomfortable, and it's very irritating to the eyes. How to use the straps to make it more comfortable. Or would 4in1 be better? The one I bought is easy to press my nose and is very heavy. Can I change to another product?
