A tala shipment arrived incomplete - only the ornament was in the box, not the fixture or the bulbs -- and they will not refund or replace. They keep saying that they have not been contacted by the shipping company. It has now been nearly three months. This was an item now listed on their site for over $2000. They will not replace the bulbs and the fixture, saying I need to buy a whole new one. I now have a useless magma disk and no fixture. I know that they ship with insurance so this should have been resolved weeks ago with me getting a replacement light. Without recourse, I have no option but to tell my story online and hope that this motivates them to resolve the issue.
I needed 4 lightbulbs for a new fixture and other places said they were from Tala so I decided to just go straight to the source. Tala had competitive prices and fast shipping times. The cost of shipping cancelled out the savings on the bulbs so it ended up being the same price, but I felt like I was supporting a nice business rather than amazon or something. The bulbs look great!
I purchased the oak knuckle pendant, which I have paired with the Sphere IV bulb, and it is simply perfect. It hangs over a bench in our front entry, and is visible from the street. At night time, we dim it to a low setting and it is the most warm and cozy sight to see.Everyone comments on how spectacular it is, and even my husband (who is a grouch and doesn’t like anything) is impressed with it.
