I usually have a good experience with Square so I’ll assume that this was a fluke. I ordered a square reader 8/16, the tracking generated that same day. Every few days, I checked to see if it made any movement, it was still waiting to be picked up by USPS. After six days I contacted customer service. They said that I would have to wait until the 26th before they could explore what was going on. So I waited. The 28th arrived, and the representative couldn’t verify my account so directed me back to AI live chat, the AI was useless, so I asked to be connected with an agent. The agent quickly was able to resend a unit. The most frustrating part about this entire interaction was the back and forth email chain with the initial customer service representative, that interaction could have been simplified entirely. Replies were getting buried within the tread making it hard to find information. Give yourself more time than you think you need to order. I lost my previous reader and needed this as a replacement.
