I love the aesthetics/clean lines of my Square terminal. I am not tech savy, but find Square simple and easy to figure out. It is super easy to make invoices on the go and they look so professional. At tax time, I am always glad that I use Square, as it calculates all aspects of my business income and tallies up the fees I spent, so that I don't have to.
This is the absolute worst choice I have made, and I have made some bad choices. At first everything was good, and then the problems started. I would deposit checks and they started holding them for 6 days. For a small business it’s hard to wait 6 days for my money. At first they didn’t hold it went through within 30 minutes. The last check was an 800$ check from wells Fargo business account not even a personal check. Also they slowly jack up your rates. Just all around a terrible company for small businesses.
Currently, I am enjoying Square. I love that they allow the opportunity for clients to book online and pay through the app even if you are on the free program. I love many and mostly all of the features that are provided for the free program. The only thing that I didn’t like was the initial relationship with Square because all of my information was lost when I became a square invite on another person‘s platform. We eventually got it squared away and now I absolutely enjoy using square.
