I used Square for our 2-day convention. It wasn’t until I got home and wasn’t getting the amount transferred that I started looking into this and had a chat with one of your representatives. As it turns out, they were entered as cash transactions, which I had no idea even existed, and I don’t even understand why you would even have cash transactions when Square is used to take credit or debit cards. Most of the people did not want a receipt, so I have no names or numbers attached to it to contact them. On top of that, once I realized all this from the chat about this, they said the Cash button is at the top of the list. Why would you have cash at the top of the list for someone who’s taking credit cards? Further, when talking or chatting with the representative, I asked if I could print off the chat we were having or how I could print it off and was told that there is no way to do that. I asked to speak to her superior, and I was denied that request. So, yes, I am livid with Square right now with over $1000 that our association has lost because of this.
DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE A SMALL BUSINESS!!!! We are a wholesale distribution landscaping company and used Square to process our first credit card transaction with a client. Square then asked us to provide additional information about our business, no problem. We provided invoices, certificate of formation with the Secretary of State, and additional documents. Square then sends me an email at 3 am notifying my account has been deactivated, and they are holding the almost 4k in funds for the next 3 months or I can refund our client (the client I gave physical goods to). But here's the kick - if I refund the client, Square is STILL going to keep their cut of the money. I now have NO way to pay my contractors, and will have to take out a loan and pay interest. Square has COST ME MONEY. This app claims to support small business, but has instead completely screwed my small business and ruined us. Thank you.
After being with Weebly and Square for years, I was shocked to get an email informing me that the annual cost of my website would more than double. It is too expensive for the size of my store. There was no option to downgrade easily. However I did manage to cancel the expensive plan and downgrade by asking customer service to do it for me, they were very helpful. I now have the basic plan for one month while I consider my options. I am thinking of maybe moving to GoDaddy, I like the fact that they integrate with Etsy and the site seems easy to use. The top plan is less than I was previously paying with Weebly. Perhaps Weebly is trying to get rid of small businesses by pricing so high now.
A exceptionally nice hoodie. Super soft and just heavy enough without being bulky. Love the gold zipper and eyelets and the contrasting logo. I do wish the website made it more clear as to what sizing you’re selecting from (e.g. US or UK). It’ll reference “model is wearing size xxUS/yyUK” but that just left me feeling unsure as to which I was ordering! I probably just overthought it…
