I didn't notice that the shirt had a dimensional applique on the front and a large one on the back. The backing for the applique is slightly rubbery and uncomfortable. I was hoping to have a hip shirt to sleep in, this won't do. I wouldn't even wear this for everyday wear.
I’ve been an electrician for over 14 years, starting as an apprentice at 16, and in that time, I’ve worn a wide range of work boots. Unfortunately, the Blue Steel work boots have not met the standard I expect, especially given their price point. I’ve worn these boots for a few months now, and I’ve rolled my ankle three times, leading to a serious foot injury.After consulting with a podiatrist, it was confirmed that these boots were the cause of my issues due to their complete lack of ankle support. I’ve since switched to Alt-Berg boots, which cost me £170, and I haven’t had any problems since. This confirmed that the Blue Steel boots were the root of the problem.While I’m sure these boots might be fine for light use, they are not fit for purpose when working 12-hour shifts in a heavy-duty, professional environment. If you’re in the trades and need something reliable, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. You shouldn’t compromise on foot safety, and these boots simply don’t provide the necessary support.
