Extremely frustrated, we purchased a square stand. On the first use, we incorrectly reported sales, they were all credit card sales and were entered as cash - my error. Each of my customers gave me verbally there phone numbers to receive a receipt. I have requested a list of those phone numbers that were given to me verbally not pulled from credit card information and have been unable to get them. I understand privacy policies but I was given there phone numbers verbally. The customer service lady has been very nice and reached out to them on my behalf. If it were me who received some random call from someone from Square asking for payment I would believe it to be a scam. Why is the business owner not reaching out to me? That would be my question. It is a substantial amount of money for our small business. You cannot speak to anyone at Square you must email. Again, she has been very prompt and helpful, I just feel like I should have access to the data that I manually inputed that was not pulled from credit/debit cards that are obviously protected by privacy practices.I reviewed the response, I have repeatedly noted that these transactions were entered as cash. This is not a banking privacy issue at all. I have been told repeatedly that the cards were not run. The customers gave me their phone numbers. Your customer service number you gave me does not have a live person ever.
