This is a scam site. My wife and I got scammed out of 4k+. If you don't pay an additional cost that they will not mention in the beginning they will keep up emailing you. I have gotten emails from the past 3 years every 2 to 3 days and they will constantly keep changing emails when they detect an email got blocked. They will also call you multiple times, from olga, to some other lady that pressures you to pay more.
Read this before you pay money to USAFIS.This is potentially a waste of money due to how you may be misled by the information communicated by USAFIS. I paid $10 to submit my application, submitted the relevant documents and have emails to prove that the cut off date said to be 11th Nov 2021. I submitted my application on 7th Nov 2021 and thought that was it. The actual official submission date was 10th Nov 2021 for the green card Diversity Lottery. On the 10th Nov 2021 I got a call from an employee, at USAFIS. She went through her call script about how eligible I was and how easy it would be and how they would ensure my application was submitted via the Diversity Lottery - this is a free lottery via US govt website and not what I was expecting but perhaps I missed that in the original emails. Secondly, the language she used was designed to make me think they would be successful in submitting my application all the way to green card - however this is very mis-leading. Next she told me she would be charging $2,700 to my visa she that had on file I quickly questioned why I should pay $2,700 to enter a lottery and she again repeated that they would support me the full way through to the green card. The problem here is the promise is to get you a green card - it is purported that way and not that they will just do the paperwork on your behalf. This can be communicated in a far clearer way by saying, they have no guarantees that you will ever get the green card, which is the case. But note the rushed effort to get my approval to charge my card - I did not agree to the charge. She wanted me to confirm right then that I would pay - so I said no as I definitely needed to do my own research given she had just informed me this was only the Diversity Lottery. To clarify, I did not pay as by this point I was concerned that what she was saying sounded too good to be true. I asked her to send me an email with the details she had given me and I would reply with my decision within a few hours - I never received the email. I also asked what the application cut off was to which replied the end of this week as her legal team needed to have it submitted by Sunday 14th Nov 21) at the latest. I asked her to confirm by end of the week did she mean tomorrow (Friday 11th Nov 21) she said yes. My biggest concern with this whole call was this; I specifically asked if the green card application was successful what year would it be granted to which she replied May 2022. I then checked the govt website - the cut off for 2023 Diversity Green Card Lottery was 10th November 2021- the cut off for 2022 Diversity Green Card Lottery was 9th November 2020. Majority of her sales pitch seemed either untrue or intentionally misleading- she wasn’t even going to be able to apply for a 2023 green card for me. So thankfully I did not pay them the money they were asking for. The real submission and award dates for 2022 & 2023 diversity green card lottery can be viewed on the dvprogram section of the US govt immigration website.Update:According a USAFIS customer service agent they have a special agreement with the US Govt where they have an approved extension to submit applications after the official lottery close date because they submit thousands of applications - (this would need to be proven). This is an honest and transparent review of my experience with USAFIS - it’s purpose is provide a review so that other people can be aptly prepared to get the right info.
Dear USAFIS team, Just i need to share my experience with this organisation. i registered my information to this organisation to enter the lottery green card.In August 2021 they contacted me by email told me, that I was selected to get the green card. Next, They called me and explain me the details about the process. After that, a lawyer from this organization her name is Margaret Wolff called me and explain what is the procedure to be in the track ,she was very helpful and supportive everyday and anytime if i need any question.I'm now on the right track to get to the interview date for the visa in the US embassy.Note : As USAFIS they never told me they want money, only when i finish and get the green card i should to pay a nominal amount,it's just for the application . Thank you Ms.Margaret WolffThank you USAFIS 152183203A.K
You WILL regret giving these people your money. Ignore my advice at your own peril. First they'll upsell you to submit your application every year for ten years. They'll charge you a couple grand to get the ball rolling. Then once you've submitted the paperwork a few weeks go by, then they will claim that in order to get the legalities and lawyers sorted it will be an extra xxxx US$. At that point I told them where to go.In any case, these days who, other than Afghans and people from other crapholes, would want to live in the US?
This is my reply to the email I got from USAFIS early this week about updating my personal information in their archives. I assume they wanted to call me since I don't hold the number I had before, and basically resumes my experience with them: Good morning, by 2013 I paid 1400 USD to get assistance moving to Manitoba, Canada. All I got was a book and some cd's valued less than a hundred bucks. Unless you can do more with those 1400 US I already paid back then (Other than making richer your boss back in Israel) please delete me from your archives. On a side note. I never had nor I will ever have intentions to emigrate to the US. Have a great day
