I’ve been using this device for three months and it has made a significant difference. I have celiac disease which has led to serious motility disorders. I had severe regular bloating and esophageal pain managed by strong meds. The meds are vagus nerve related so I thought this could work. It has. My severe bloating has all but disappeared allowing me to slowly normalise my diet (from a low fibre, fodmap-adjacent diet). I sleep better, I feel less stressed, have less pain and have much better energy. I notice if I don’t use it,Yes, learning to get the ear pieces in is tricky initially. They felt awkward and sore at first. The gel does irritate my ears a bit. I got the premium app but tend to use one of the pre set programs so didn’t need to. The HRV measurement is interesting but not sure it’s accurate and sometimes it is buggy. It’s goes through batteries rapidly. But all of this pales next to the benefits to my health which are only increasing the longer I use it.
In January, 2024, I began having severe heart palpitations. My heart would begin pounding and racing out of the blue, 140 to over 200 bpm, and it would last for hours! Now, it is as strong as it used to be!If I do have a palpitation, it resolves in seconds, not hours!I also take supplements to heal this second nervous system no one talks about but they weren’t helping very quickly before the Vagustim. Healing nerves usually takes years, if ever!I, obviously, highly recommend the Vagustim!
I’m shocked that this company sells a very expensive product and doesn’t tell you that it is virtually worthless unless you buy an additional subscription tgat kets you use the device as it was designed. Its like buying a Ferrari and finding out you can only use it in first gear unless you pay for a subscription. Dishonest
The Vagustim has been life-changing! I have mold toxicity that resulted in a perpetual state of Fight or Flight. The Vagustim is quickly calming my vagus nerve. By day four of use, I was having daily Bowel Movements without laxatives, which hadn't happened in decades! The inner quiver I feel from the Fight or Flight is almost gone in 3 weeks of use. The free app even tracks HRV and overall wellness. My only complaint is that it is hard to reach customer service when needed if you live in the U.S. because they're based in Turkey. My daughter has dyautonomia. This seems to help. She trialed a Stim device that was worn for 24 hours for 5 straight days. That worked better. The reason for the 4 stars is you need to purchase the $100 app if you want to wear it more than 15 minutes. Also, you can only wear it 30 minutes at a time. It doesn't allow more minutes. Update: Contacted by the company. I didn’t need to purchase the $100 app to gain more time. Daughter is successfully wearing it daily. It has kept her nausea away.
