Review Time
I purchased some valspar paint in store last Saturday.
I brought 3 tins of different coloured paint, one for my sons room another for my daughters room and one for the lounge.
I am extremely disappointed in the paint I have used so far.
After spending my whole week off painting there rooms, I can honestly say I wish I never bothered.
I painted my sons room first and then my daughters room, I’m currently on my 3 coat and the room is patchy, I even went and brought a fresh roller and it is still patchy.
I have now run out of paint and patience as this is just the worst thing ever, in between each coat I waited 24 hours. In my whole life I have not experienced such awful paint, it’s not even cheap.
We brought 3 as it was 3 for 2 offer on and I’m not even going to bother painting the lounge with this awful paint.stay clear people, I just wish I read the reviews before purchasing.
I have also emailed b and q and I have yet not received a email back, this was 4 days ago, terrible customer service.
I just wrapped up painting my son's room in a vibrant blue shade. It looks fantastic! The application was smooth, requiring just two coats. I'm honestly taken aback by the negative feedback. The color and finish are beautiful.

Stay away. Looks appealing but performs poorly. The furniture paint offers a nice matte finish, but that’s where the positives end. Despite thorough preparation, the paint never fully cures and flakes off easily. This isn't wear and tear; it's a fundamental flaw. The finish remains fragile and unusable. I’ve used this product extensively, and my careful application has been in vain. It’s frustrating to hear others have had similar experiences with this brand. Furniture paint should be durable and set properly, not behave like dust. I’m sharing this to prevent others from wasting their time and effort. If you care about your furniture, seek alternatives.
