My husband and I cannot recommend Cosey Homes enough!! Unfortunately, we have faced some challenges purchasing our first home with three separate house sales falling through, requiring the instruction of three surveys. We have used Patrick from Cosey Homes for all and for each one, he has provided us with an excellently thorough structural survey.
Patrick is not only an experienced surveyor but a builder too, making him an expert in his field and someone we can really trust. Each report we have received has been extremely thorough and we have really valued his advice and expertise on all three properties.
Due to the difficult time we have had, we have felt particularly looked after by Patrick and also Thomas Mooney who has kindly supported us throughout in the swift turn around of the surveys.
Everyone we have dealt with has been incredibly professional, friendly and have really gone the extra mile to provide us with a great service. Highly highly recommend!
The service was incredibly easy to book, and I felt no pressure whatsoever. Unlike other companies, I didn’t receive a barrage of follow-up emails before making my decision. I’ve used this service before and returned expecting the same quality, but it was a significant mistake. This time, the experience was truly terrible from start to finish. The Level 3 survey I received was filled with low-quality, poorly lit images that barely captured anything. When I raised my concerns, they sent a second document that was simply the same inadequate photos enlarged. Some images were entirely missing from the initial report. For a Level 3 survey, this is unacceptable. The written report was equally unsatisfactory. Large portions seemed copied, generic, and not tailored to my property. I paid for a thorough inspection, not a reused template. The handling of my complaints only worsened the situation. The individual who managed my case kept deflecting and did not address any of the issues I raised. Every response sidestepped the points entirely and relied on generic replies instead of providing explanations. I never received a proper answer regarding the poor images, missing evidence, or recycled text. Just avoidance and dismissal. For a service that impacts significant financial decisions, this level of negligence is concerning. I had to take the matter to external authorities because the company refused to acknowledge their shortcomings. If you seek clarity, proper evidence, or a service that values your concerns, steer clear of this company. They disappointed me greatly, and I won’t be coming back.

I had a great experience with the service. We had a Level 3 survey conducted on the house. The surveyor was exceptional, and the representative took the time to explain the findings and help me understand everything. I would highly recommend this service for any surveying needs.
