I arranged a photo shoot at Vanity Studios as a special treat for my daughter's Birthday. We received a very warm welcome upon arrival and were quickly invited into makeup, nails then hair. The whole team were absolutely amazing and very friendly. We were thoroughly looked after throughout our time at the studio.Our photos are stunning! We can't stop looking at them!I would not hesitate to recommend!
Everyone was so lovely and an expert in their field. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel really welcome. The make up artists were outstanding. They had a really excellent selection of top quality brands and knew how to mix them to achieve the best results. My make up looks so good still I’m tempted to leave it on overnight! I love what they did with my hair too. They did exactly what I asked for and they also refreshed my nail varnish. Time to go downstairs for the shoot with our brilliant photographer. She knew exactly how to direct us, where to place our hands and feet and the best angles. We had four different outfits with various backgrounds. Everything was very efficient and fun. Back upstairs for a cupcake and a glass of fizz and we had so much fun choosing our favourite shots which you get there and then via a link and they make sure you know how to download them once you’ve chosen your package. I’m really happy with the ones we chose and when I got home my teenage daughter and her best friend said ‘we slayed!’
My daughter and I attended a makeover/photoshoot on 14 September 2024.From the moment we stepped through the doors we were treated like royalty.We were made to feel welcome y the whole team.Our makeup artists made us look like a million dollars and they were absolutely lovely, friendly and professional.The hairdresser styled our hair which looked fabulous and once again was lovely and very professional.Our photographer made us feel very comfortable and special as this was totally out of my comfort zone. He also discussed poses and which of our outfits complimented one another.The photos were spectacular and I would strongly urge anyone to have this fantastic experience.
So I ordered myself and my best friend the vouchers for two cosplay photoshoots for her birthday and to have a good time in London. We were a bit wary and cautious as we weren't too sure what to expect. But when we walked in we were greeted with smiles and were glided into the process of discussing our looks and our desired make up and hair. The make up artists were so lovely and made us feel so comfortable in our own skin. Then to our photoshoot we had an amazing time, the photographer didn't have a lot to work with as we came in our own original characters so he had no concept poses or art, but he was so patient and kind and fun and the pictures came out so well, we came out of the studio beaming. The quality of the pictures came out so well and we could not be happier.
My best friend booked this experience as a birthday present for me and her to take some fun cosplay pictures. The staff whom welcomed us were super friendly and sweet offering us drinks. Our makeup artist was incredible, she was not only very skilled but kind and considerate too!! Next our photographer is a rock star!! I’m a plus size girly so get a little self conscious but he made me and my friend feel at ease, excited and the pictures were ridiculously beautiful!
I had an amazing day, from start to finish everything was exceptional. Everyone that works here is so lovely and accommodating. I am so pleased with the final result of the photos! Even with an 11 month old baby they were extremely helpful and some of the pictures we got were outstanding! Couldn’t recommend enough.
The team are so friendly and warm and made us all feel very comfortable. My sister who is a qualified beautician wasn't happy with the way her make up was set. Also the photos were over priced compared to industry standards but I loved Danny the photographer so much and loved the pictures. Also Angie and the black make up artist were amazing!
I had an amazing time at Vanity Studios with my mum! The service was impeccable, from the make up and hair, to the amazing photos by the photographer and to our photo selection! Every member staff made our day special! And we would recommend to everyone!
When we arrived we were greeted, offered drinks and talked through the day, which was good. We had our nails, hair and make-up done, and were given a choice over what we wanted but we were also advised on what would look nice with the outfit choices we had brought with usAfter we were made up, we were introduced to our photographer who was amazing! He did a really great job making us all feel comfortable, was attentive, experimented with the posing, etc. and the pictures turned out really wellAfter all of the photos were taken we were offered drinks again and then talked through the packages and shown all of the photosAll of the staff were lovely and we had a really fun day - very happy!
I am very disappointed with how my recent experience at this studio was handled, particularly regarding unexpected fees and a sales process that felt manipulative and lacked transparency.I purchased a voucher at an event in London for what was sold as a “London Fashion Week” style makeover experience, including hair, makeup, nails, and photos. The voucher was meant to be a fun gift for my friend's 50th birthday, but it turned into a financial burden I wasn’t prepared for.After booking, I was informed of a £150 booking deposit that had never been mentioned at the time of purchase. This deposit was later applied toward the cost of additional photos, which I had no intention of buying. I believed the deposit was refundable, and I thought I was paying just £50 more for the photos, which my friend and I split. Instead, I found myself paying an extra £200 after they already had my deposit. I felt pressured into this purchase because the process was unclear and misleading.Free alcohol was also offered during the experience, which in hindsight, I believe clouded my judgment when agreeing to the extra costs. This practice is concerning, as it compromises a customer's ability to make rational financial decisions.Adding to my frustration, I received an email the evening of the photoshoot promising a free digital image in exchange for leaving a review. While I initially left a positive review, I have not received the promised image, nor do I want it now.Although the makeover experience itself was enjoyable, the entire process left me feeling manipulated and misled. What was meant to be a thoughtful gift turned into an expensive and disappointing ordeal.This business needs to improve transparency and fairness in its sales practices. I cannot recommend this experience based on how I was treated.
